“Store is kept in good order and employees are friendly. Just don't buy chocolate here. Its just never fresh. And the last time the chocolate had def melted and re-solidified. Super fucking gross. I was able to return it without any hassle.”

They have a wide variety of household necessities, person necessities, decorations, and bedding. They have storage solutions for food and personal items. They also carry luggage and duffle bags. There are some food items and snacks. They carry gift items as well. It's always a pleasure visiting this store.”

“This 99 cent is best the in central ave. The guys that work there are very professional and kind. There was an older woman there who started following me and my family around the store knowing not knowing are regular customers. ( guess she was new cause I never seen her before ) We always shop there for bubble wrap for my business or detergent since our laundromat is right next door from it. But other than that it’s very organized. I like it there. Small but have everything you need”
“Love my local Dollar Tree there is nothing like a comeback and after C19 Boy did they come back bigger & better. I have to give props to the management of this location he always has a steady well-stocked supply of what consumers actually buy. The cashiers here are awesome and on point too and check (tons) of customers out in a friendly, courteous, efficient, and professional manner. I love shopping here and hope they will be around for a long long time.:-)”
“This place has been here for a couple decades. They are always pleasant and welcoming. They carry a variety of household necessities, decorations, small appliances, undergarments, personal hygiene products, toys and gift items. They even have some beautiful plants. They have clothing and house shoes. There's honestly too much to list here. You have to check your bags in but don't be offended, so many stores in the area have had to close due to incessant shoplifting.”

“This dollar always has what I need, surprisingly I’ve never been when the boxes are blocking the aisles. I’ve been to other dollar trees that are consistently like this and it annoys me, because the aisles are blocked off. But Westchester Square Dollar Tree is always clean and shelves stocked! The lines are crazy sometimes, which is why I rated 4/5, but the staff gets them moving and people out the store. I’ve never met an employee not helpful in this dollar tree! One of my top 5s in the area for sure!”

“This Dollar Tree is super well stocked. It has everything from gardening supplies, party supplies, cleaning supplies, cold food (the refrigerators are full and the aisle is long, offering a lot of variety), sausages, pizza, juices, cooking supplies, personal hygiene items, canned goods, a variety of foods, crafts, beauty products, tools, and much more. They have tons of $1.25 items and other price points too. Their aisles are packed, so leave your carts at the entrance. The bus stop is close by. BX 30, BX 23, BX 26, BX 28. “By far the best $1+ chain store. I used to live in the area and still stop by when I am there. They always have what I need - budget friendly plates, glassware, stationary, snacks… you name it! Staff is always friendly and polite. The lines are long sometimes, but move fast.”
“Pretty well stocked. Not too messy for holiday time. Staff appeared unwilling to assist the disabled on my last trip. I saw someone with a walker struggling to manuever through stock items strewn about within the aisles while in the vicinity of a shelf stocking staff member, and the customer was ignored. Hopefully this was a seasonal helper, and she won't still be working there when I return.”

“Long story short, I needed to update the ugly boob lights in my apartment. I got the inspo (see photo), headed to Dollar Tree and ended up making this for under $8. So proud I had to show off.
This particular Dollar Tree was out of a lot of things. No hot glue sticks, entire rows in the crafts section out of stock.
I asked the manager about it and she was very kind. She said they just get whatever they send so you can’t even ask them to get products. Like it seems the inventory is random. This was around June 2nd 2025.
?Tip: They do answer the phone so give them a call before driving over if you’re going for something specific. Very good chance they’re out and you can save yourself the trip.”
“This store has a lot of merchandise to pick from for almost everything. The store is organized and clean. I usually go there to buy supplies for arts and crafts since I work with children and prices are ok.”
“Fort Lee NJ Store has many items other Dollar Tree stores can't keep up. The store manager is a very hard worker packing out the shelves with Merchandise every time you come in the store. I've NEVER saw a manager work as hard. Large variety of drinks Energy Pop - soda Boylan brand $1.25 a bottle I know it's $1.25 plus but 95% of Merchandise is what we usually buy. The Best car window washer in 1 gal plastic bottle sold at Dollar tree ,. I never get anything else. From spring - Till November above 50 degrees . The other store employees just as nice Totally different from other stores in the chain.”

“UPDATE 4/9/24: Went early. Very empty - at first. Boxes were so crowded in the isles, we had to leave our carts in other isle to squeeze past the rows of boxes.
We could not access the shelves due to the isle blockage by the tons of boxes.
They should pay overtime to hire people during closing hours to unload.
The smaller bottles of brand name sodas like Pepsi have gone up to $1.75.

Since I couldn't shop due to the boxes, I grabbed a few things then left.
UPDATE: 7/20/23-Once again, very organized. They have tons more employees. Even the manager works. They were still stocking on shelves. Customers keep this place very busy.

5/2023- The store on St. Nicholas Avenue, closed permanently. I then ventured up to this store and was shocked to see it so disorganized! Items were misplaced and on some isles, it looked like a mini explosion. Even the manager was up on a ladder, and he rarely comes out.
There was only one employee at the cash register, and the check out line was all the way back to the freezers.
Normally, there are other employees stacking shelves. Not one was present.
I assumed this store simply took the stock from the closed store, but because there weren't employees stocking shelves, I don't know what to think.
This store is (was?) one of the best. Oh well...

Love the selection. Variety, and going earlier than later. Even 3pm, on a bus is late-especially on a Friday-any Friday! The beauty is there's a bus stop directly in front of the store so you don't have far to drag your body on your return trip home. Or you can walk around the corner to the A train.
BRING YOUR OWN SHOPPING BAG! Or else pay for theirs. I bring a backpack and a large, shopping bag.
They have such unique items, every week: Fanta Strawberry soda, infused exfoliating bath cloth, etc.”
“This is a great dollar tree, got balloons and toys for my niece and nephew and some vitamin waters! Line moved pretty quick and they ended up opening another cashier cause the line got long.”
“My mom just told me about this store and WOW! My new favorite place! I love crafting and organization and gardening and knock off products - Dollar Tree has it all! Although it is a discount store, it is neat and orderly. There are many categories. Basically meet daily needs and really save money.
There is also Coca-Cola in a glass bottle. What you drink is not Coca-Cola at all, but feelings.”

And no, I regret it, please let these stores last a long time, and one observation, please put 2 or 3 cashiers. Why are the lines very long and sometimes you leave the store without being able to buy because of the time that is sometimes limited for customers?”
