Really great katsu, not many places have cheese filled katsu and I enjoy the wang donkatsu, it's enough for 2 or to have leftovers.

Chicken katsu is delicious. The breading is nice and crunchy and not oily. The side pair perfectly with the dish.

Ordered through Grub hub for a few times and they NEVER close the bag. Anyone could have just open the food container and mess with it.

Thanks to this place, I don't eat pork cutlet in New York... I'd rather eat it here than eat it in New York haha.

Outstanding service . Very friendly . This was my first time trying chicken katsu( which I got wrong the first time and ordered the shrimp. They still made sure I got what I wanted ). The chicken was tender , juicy , and the breading was crisp. I will definitely go back !!

Used to be my go to place but not sure what happen these days.I'm posting this so the owner can see this and will work more on employee service training since their food is 4 star while customer service is 0.They forgot to put shrimp katsu sauce 2 times in a row, first time was thru uber eats so I got partial refund from uber (about $5? $3?) But this time, it was phone order and the guy put the blame on new employee and said ' you can come pick it up or I will refund you 5 cents.' And he claims the sauce is very cheap (BTW they charge 1.88 for wang tonkatsu sauce on their website). So I argued since the store messed up my order, they should be delivering it to me, not the other way around or something more than ' 5 cents '. Then he said, "If you want I can give you free drink next time and that's the best I can do, thank you" then he just hung up. Really???Anyhow, if you gonna order here, especially shrimp katsu, you may wanna order thru Ubereats since that way, at least you will have better resolution about your missing order.

I really like their cheese katsu. Lots of cheese, just the right amount of pork, and thin batter. It should fill up most people. However, their shrimp katsu is 75-80% batter. Don't get me wrong, they do great job frying and I don't expect costly prawn at this price point. But they make the batter so big, it is greasy and difficult to finish. If you love that sort of thing, you may like it.Pork katsu tastes good, the batter to meat ratio isn't my cup of tea. I would be nice if they offered thicker cut at higher price point, because I'd definitely pay for that.Cheese katsu: 5pork katsu: 3.5shrimp katsu: 3

Best Japanese style donkatsu in the area hands down. I love how crispy (on the outside) and juicy (on the inside) it is. They also come with radish/onions and salad on the side which complement the main dish perfectly. Rice and sauce on the side as well are included. Price is really great, too.I get takeout here about once a month (I wish more!).Just be aware that seating inside is sparse. They basically have 3 tables. It's definitely more of a takeout type of business model.

when i ordered thru phone . they were saying they ran out of rice . so i said that's fine and i asked about what kind of sides do you guys have and the guy with the loud voice said curry . so i told him i will get one . when i came back with the food . they put rices on (which supposed to come out without charge anyway) but no curry .They did charge me on curry i've also paid them 18% tip on top of the final price . There was no customers in store . it was completely empty . i don't know what he was on to not check on the order sheets . when i run some restaurant businesses this is not acceptable excuse when store was not even busy . i've tried calling them twice . they didn't pick up . on the google map they are closing at 8 30 . i called at 8:08 , 8:15 . i'm not wasting my time going back for what $4 + 18% tips. i will just never order from here ever again .Make sure to double check your order before you leave . seems like they don't give a damm about it .

I went there only one time but liked their very crispy Katsu or cutlets and want to go again someday. We had Chicken Katsu and Shrimp Katsu. They give us a huge portion with a relatively cheaper price. Highly recommend this place.

Best place for tonkatsu in all of the east coast.. Always get the WANG tonkatsu to get the original Korean style (big and flat with yummy sauce). They give tonkatsu sauce on the side which is also helpful for it not to get soggy. The place is small but clean, and service is fast and easy.
