This is one of the worst shell gas station I have ever been to.I was given a 50 dollar gift card from my friend for buying my first car.I was so happy that it was with shell cause i always had great experience with them. But this one changed my whole perspective of this company.I had spent 15 dollars on the 13th and on the 17th I spent another 15.So that will leave me with 20 dollars.I go to use my gift card again and it says that my funds were transferred of my card onto another cared.I called Shell support and they told me on the 17th I used 35 dollars when I didn't.On the screen of the pump it only said 15 dollars. You guys scammed me for my money and when I call the store nobody knows how to pick up the phone it just rings.I will not be coming back here to get scammed again.

Long time area resident here, I insist this station be avoided, awful attendants, with bad attitudes. I'd rather pump gas myself in subzero temps than have to deal with these abysmal excuses of human existence

This is for Ft. Lee Getty at 1300 Palisade Ave, Ft. Lee --The most honest mechanic ever! Here's why: I've been taking my 5 yr old car with under 20K miles to the dealer for reg maint for several yrs. At my last dealer appt I was given 4 recommended services each over $200. Just 4 mos before I was told it was in excellent condition. Now I'm told even drive belt is in critical need of replacement. Uh? I decided to get another opinion at the The Fort Lee Getty on Palisade Ave, Ft. Lee. I just drove in to ask how much they would charge to check the belt, since that seemed the most critical. The owner, I believe that is Effie, came to my car, popped the hood, looked and said: 'You don't need a new belt.' And then he pointed to the belt to show me it had no signs of damage/wear and needn't be replaced before 60K miles!. He even went on to state other unnecessary services dealers may recommend. He got them all right! Like a psychic! I think he just knows their routine. He asked for nothing. I will be making my next service appts at Ft. Lee Getty on Palisade Ave.

5 minutes ago I had stopped at this station to fill $40 of regular gas. First things first, the attendant (the skinny young man with the wave in the front of his hair) took 5 minutes to come out and help me. I let it slide as I assumed he was in the restroom. He came out and asked me how much I wanted, without even apologizing for the wait. I asked him for $40 regular. He puts the pump in and runs over to the next driver who just pulled up; mind you the station wasn't busy and we were the only 2 drivers here. I then turned over to see I was being charged $55 and the gas kept pumping. I had to call the attendant over to get his attention and let him know I was being overcharged. He decided to walk instead of running over like he did earlier when the other driver pulled up. I let him know that I asked for only $40 regular and he tells me he thought o said full up regular. He stopped the pump but then ran over the other pump without even apologizing, handing me a receipt or even offering a refund. It seems this attendant was more interested in rushing his customers instead of providing quality service. The fact that he never once apologized for the long wait nor the over filling and over charging speaks volumes on the integrity of not just this attendant, but the business practices of this station. If I could like to speak to a corporate or district manager regarding this incident. This incident happened today (May 31st, 2022) around 1:40 PM . Thank you for your consideration and I hope to hear feedback soon. Have a blessed day!

This fat guy on his phone was too busy with his head in some other cars window (not sure what his head was doing) so I pumped my own gas. He was the most unprofessional Person I have ever seen. Last time I go to Shell .

Getty is amazing! Effie, the owner, is super nice and generous and has the nicest guys working there. I brought my car to them the morning after Hurricane Ida hit NYC/NJ. I had a flat tire from the night before and then also suddenly received a coolant alert in the morning. Not only did they put my spare tire on and refill the coolant without charging me, but they also called the nearby Mavis Discount Tire to confirm they had a replacement tire for me and got me an appointment for the very same morning! So glad they are in my neighborhood!

Effin' bandits here on price. I had no choice because I flaked and was low on fuel, and a full tank here cost me about $25 more than what it does at nearby stations.

The new jersey turnpike each morning trying to cross the George Washington bridge. We need another crossing at this point. This congestion is so old.
