I was passing through Fort Lee on my way to New York from central Pennsylvania when I broke down on I-95. Even though I am mechanically inclined, I had no option but to get towed to a shop to resume my trip. The tow truck driver recommended Kelly's since it was nearby. The staff worked quickly to verify the issue, ran for the part immediately, and had me back on the road within two hours. I was treated honestly and charged fairly. It's very unnerving when you don't know who you're dealing with, but they did a great job.

I personally would give them 10 stars if it's up to me!!! I know everyone has a different experiences, mine have been nothing but good! This place has been here for 40 years and is a family business. They have many dedicated customers who would rather wait than go elsewhere. And if you happen to be sharing your own experience with this place just please be honest! I do know that these guys work very hard! There's good and bad EVERYWHERE!

Got a brand new alternator drom these scavengers and alternator dont work. I paid $533 For theyre service for the problem not be fix. I called them to explain the situation. Expressing to them another mechanic checked and said it was the alternator. Walter hung up on me and will not answer the call. So now i am seeking a lawyer to sue these scam artist. I will never suggest for anyone to recieve any service with this company. If i can mark 0 stars i will do so. I will also contact B2b to let them know of this company and have them investigated.

Lackluster service and terrible attitudes... I got a car towed by this place and they tried to overcharge me despite our previously (mutually) agreed upon price. Don't come here if you like good value for your money and time. There should be a better way of warning people not to deal with these crooks.

This place really charged a lot of money for labor fees and fixing minor conditions. I would recommend you to check with other places before coming to this place to avoid being potentially overcharged.

They will do the job, but they will also charge an arm and a leg, and when you ask for a quote, they will be extremely cagey about giving you a straight answer about it -- things like "don't worry, we'll cut you a deal" (actual quote). $575 for a tow, two tires, and the labor to mount (and not balance, because they don't do balancing, by their own attestation) said tires. I've purchased the exact same tires for under $100 each in the recent past (and had them within a day, for about $30 total in shipping); they informed me they were discounting my tow to $100, meaning they charged me $245 or so for the labor to mount two tires. They will also attempted to convince me to use their sister company, A1 taxi, for transportation back home. For comparison, I regularly get all four mounted and balanced for under $100 at the service station I typically use. In the future, I'll just have them tow my car elsewhere. In retrospect, I could tow my car home, then to another garage, and still pay less soup-to-nuts. Lesson learned. EDIT: Turns out they not only installed the wrong tires, but they installed a defective pair. I'm already replacing, two weeks later.

I guess I am obliged to 5 star. As far as all others I hope you make your own decision on how you want to rate and why. Just please be honest! I do know that these guys work hard. There's good and bad everywhere.

These people are extremely rude, irritable, and have extremely shady business practices! I have had the pleasure of being forced to interact with Kelly's Auto working out of the Valero gas station on Lemoine Ave. on two separate occasions. The first was when my friend needed to get her car fixed so I rode along in the tow truck on the way to the mechanic. I found out a day later that my card had been overcharged $100 for the tow, and when i went back to complain, they fought with me over the charge and tried to hem and haw in order to steal some more of my money. I ended up just working with the bank to get my cash back and thanked my lucky stars that I wouldn't have to personally interact with such people ever again. Unfortunately as fate would have it, my car ended up being towed once again through Kelly's Auto. My father was curious about the exact reason for the tow and asked a few questions when out of nowhere the man lost his reason and started screaming at my father. We ended up paying cash and leaving after while, but my mother was extremely frightened at this encounter. I am personally furious that these kind of people have an agreement with Fort Lee Police Department to use their tow trucks/company lot for police business, despite nearly a decade of reviews decrying the scummy nature of this place, and I am disgusted at how blatant their attempts at scheming money from people have become.

I don't understand how adults can be so trashy and overcharge/steal from strangers without even feeling guilty. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE, THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU. but seriously, avoid bringing your car to this business, you'll thank me later.

The mechanic did a great job installing my catalytic coverter on my 2004 chevy astro van, some a** hole crawled underneath my van and sawed it off, also it needed a starter and distributor and rotor, very clean job, Fred and Gina are nice also. Thank You Valero!
