Stay away from VNB. This is an evil bank! I have been a customer for over 10 years, out of convenience but I reached my limit. Even the tellers hate the bank. Everyone there is rude. Take forever at the drive through. Worse the fees!!! They hit you with fees for everything and they fight with you to keep it. They pretend to be nice but they never give you a break. Recently, I was a victim of home burglary. The worse violation. It took over 2 mos for the insurance company to pay, another evil empire, but another story (AVOID NJ SKYLANDS INSURANCE & NATIONAL GENERAL...SOLD BY PROGRESSIVE). My insurance company sent the claims check and it has my name and VNB on it. But little did I know that if you have a loan or line of credit the bank will keep the check. Further, VNB will charge $35 for every disbursement to fix my property. VNB doesn't own my house or pay my bills yet they are profiting from my loss, disgusting VNB. I don't have a mortgage but a measly Home Equity Line of Credit with them which is enough for them to keep my insurance check, but this is another way the dirt bags at VNB can further steal from you. So they have now my $15,000 from the insurance company in their bank floating it and earning interest for them. While I can't hire workers to fix my house. and you can't even do work yourself so you can use money that the insurance company didn't pay for. They now have the money for 2 weeks and I can't get it to get my house fixed, and they want me to pay $35 to send an adjuster every time I fix the house. VNB profits off your loss. They don't return calls and treat you like crap. Please trust me never never open an account at VNB, go to Chase, I switched there. Stay away from this evil bank Valley National Bank

Not this branch, but the Palisade Ave branch down the block is the worst run bank I've ever been too. The manager goes out of her way to say no and be unhelpful. I've never seen anything like it in my life. She's rude, incompetent, unfriendly and nasty. I've been a customer for 25 years but dealing with her made me close my account and go to a competitor.

Such a bad experience and certainly not a bank that ranks with big ones. I had to cancel my account because of the HIDDEN FEES!!!!!!!!!!!
