I'm closing my accounts. I'm done with this bank. Never ever ever dealing with Woori America Bank ever again. Never sent me checks or cards or anything. Tried to charge me for every little thing. I went to a different branch and the manager there said that they can't waive the fees because the account was started at a different branch but they normally are waived for the amount I kept at the bank.So the branch manager in NYC called the Fort Lee branch and told me the branch manager wasn't in and to talk about the fee waiving on Monday.Why would I want to stay with a bank that doesn't send me a debit card or atm card or checks or anything?No thanks. I'll go to a bank that actually treats me like a customer.EDIT: They even back tracked on the fee waiving they promise. Do not trust this bank ever.

Woori America Bank's policy is that courtesies and perks that you get at any other bank at EVERY location they have, are restricted to one location only. Where you opened your account.They try to funnel you to one location only. This is not a bank you want to do business at if you want convenience.

Why are they so busy all the time and not friendly / kind to customers?I just stopped by to ask couple of questions and the lady was so busy and talked to me in rude way. (Ms.Lee) she talked to me in Korean so fast and when I didn't understand quite exactly what she requested, I felt like she was kind of upset or irritated by me. so I felt like I couldn't talk to her anymore.I'm not familiar with woori american bank and I didn't know what to ask exactly but is that my fault? You guys don't know what customer service means?

This Korean bank is really a sorry excuse for being a Korean bank representing Korean Americans. Point by point comparison indicates that not one service is competitive and is lack of...The only thing it provides is Korean speaking representatives. Again, a sorry excuse to exemplify how great services are for banks in Korea. Stay away if you speak English! I will hope that Woori Bank shapes up for the future...

Had multiple issues with this branch in Fort Lee. Walked into the bank trying to make a withdrawal. The bank teller calls me over to assist me but receives a phone call. Has me STANDING there for 5 MINUTES. Whiles she's talking to another customer. After she hangs up passes my paperwork over to her coworker. So not only did she not help me when I was there in person. She wasted my time. And did not even apologize for the wait. That's just the first incident. The other day I arrived at the bank at 3:58. On the door clearly states that they close at 5pm. But when I had arrived the doors were already locked. Tried to call the branch as well but no one would pick up. And no one would open the door. If branch hours has changed they should state it as so. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in their lack of care to customers. And HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL with the first incident.
