Parsons Pond Park is a huge 84 acre park donated to the Burrough of Franklin Lakes by Express Scripts. The park features baseball fields, a scenic pond, walking paths, and easy trails. There is a nice baseball field and some green space given over to lacrosse. A winding, undulating path through some natural areas and picnic tables make this park worth visiting. There is also a pond that is green. The park has plenty of parking, a basketball court, and a tennis court. It is a great spacious park to enjoy with family and friends. However, there is nowhere in the entire park to sit down except the baseball field stands. The park is a quick local stop for a nature walk or for a photographer.
