Love this store! The most pleasant and courteous people work here. Always do their best to serve their customers!

I love CVS but there are certain locations that need to do better. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my meds, the cashier was cheerful until I got to her counter and all of a sudden she “wants to go home already”. I didn’t do anything but provide my name and date of birth. The customers before were pleasant but when you have to take care of me you want to go home? You’ve only been open an hour and 8 minutes by the time I got there and all of a sudden you’re having a bad day?! I transferred my meds there because I just moved to the area but I may as well travel the 1.5 hr to the pharmacy I’m used to in Eatontown. I punched in my number she didn’t even have the decency to say that number didn’t come up would you like to try another? I worked for CVS and still support them but I went the extra mile with every customer so I know what it is like when someone doesn’t do the basics. Not a great first experience because of OM. The front store manager seems pleasant she greeted us as soon as we came in and when we left. The only reason I leave 3 stars is because of her and the fact that my meds were available faster than I expected.

This review is especially for pharmacy section. Make sure you are not in pain when you go to get your medicine. Especially around noon as lunch time is 1.30-2 pm they will still say your medicines are not ready. Even if you die in front of them. Not being racist to my race but some of Indians are cruel like this cvs. Earlier it was good but since change in workers here this cvs has drop way low in humanity. Even for vaccination you will wait till your appointment past. They will make you wait wait and wait. On other side store employees are kinder and friendly.

Been using the CVS pharmacy located at Rt 27 & Beekman Rd in Franklin Park NJ since 1997 on a on and off basis. My recent most visit was fraught with negative experiences. Firstly the store initiated a refill on their own. When I went to pick up my medication my copay for the medication had suddenly gone up. I unhappily asked how it suddenly changed. The pharmacy technician with her scowl face snapped at me very curtly to check with my insurance company glaring at me all the while. I left the store without picking up the medication. Later that evening I called the pharmacy and spoke to the manager or lead pharmacist and told him I would like to come the following morning and pick up the medication. After checking the particulars in their system, he said that was absolutely fine. Next morning when I went to pick up the medication, the same technician with a scowl face attitude looked into the system and said I have no prescription! Infact just that morning I had received a text from CVS to come and get the medication. Lo and behold now magically it's not there. The technician once again with a scowl face told me to go to a different counter to reorder the prescription. I went to the booth and showed the text message that I had received from CVS to pick up my medication. He looked up their system and told me someone had put the medicine back to store, so he would have to reprocess my prescription and asked me to wait another 20 minutes. I wish CVS trains pharmacists to be customer friendly.

Terrible experience.I got my prescription sent over to this CVS. When I got to the pharmacy, they told me they didn’t have the medicine in stock and I had to buy it over the counter (which is no problem). I wandered the isles and finally found what I was looking for: vitamin b6 & unisom. I found vitamin b6 with 100mg per tablet. I went back to the pharmacy counter to make sure that I was getting the right dosage that the doctor prescribed. The pharmacist told me ‘there’s no dosage written on the prescription, and 100mg is standard’. I remember my doctor saying I’m supposed to take this 4 times a day because I’m pregnant and it helps with nausea. This morning my chart had been updated with the summary from the doctors appointment from the previous day and I see that I’m supposed take 25mg tables 4 times a day, not 100mg tablets 4 times a day. Because of their mistake, I was going to take 4 times the dosage I was prescribed. Since I’m pregnant, this is not a mistake that should be made.I returned to the pharmacy today and they realized the mistake they made, but didn’t even apologize. They issued a refund and said have a nice day. I will never ever return to this CVS. This is not a mistake that should be made.

Worst Pharmacy. Staff is very rude. Never prepare the prescriptions on time. Always have to wait 30-40 minutes. Staff is behaving like they are giving us medicine at free of cost. Try to avoid this particular location or unless increase your patience level while talking to them

I don’t wish to bad mouth this pharmacy. I just have had many issues with my prescriptions here. It seems that the staff is really busy and overwhelmed all of the time. Are more people sick or are they just short staffed? Either way, it seems problematic to me. Some change needs to happen because clearly I’m not the only one that has had problems here. Otherwise the staff is very patient and kind.

Worst pharmacy avoid it if you can. I had to call several times to refill a prescription. Always been told it is at processing and will be ready tomorrow and the tomorrow comes it says again at proceed and will be ready tomorrow. Staffs in pharmacy section were rude, very impatient, talked over me, unprofessional. You never know what is the status of your refill. I would give it a negative rating if there is an option.

I live in the Monmouth Junction area. I usually stop by the CVS in Franklin Park to use the pharmacy. Unfortunately the pharmacy staff a horrible the rude disrespectful disregard people especially Black people now the stuff inside the store that works the floor and actually works in CVS. They’re much easier to deal with and nicer and more concerned with the customers but unfortunately the pharmacy staff is horrible.

I know CVS Pharmacy is busy, but why do they make you hold the phone for over15 minutes EVERY TIME I CALL THEM. The pharmacy person got on the line three (3) times to hold, so they knew Inwas there. One time, I called them and I was on hold for 10 minutes. So I drove there and 5 minutes later I walked up to the pharmacy counter while I was still on hold and said I have a question to ask you. Should I wait on the phone for the answer or ask in person? They did not appreciate my sarcasm, but guess what? I don't appreciate being put on hold for 20 Minutes listening to an annoying recording which keeps telling me to get more vaccines! Answer your damn calls CVS. I only had one simple question, would have taken you 23 seconds tp answer.

This CVS avails Flu and COVID vaccines. Staff is pretty friendly but it’s a pain to get hold of pharmacist when ordering prescription. I would not recommend to use this location to order your prescription. This location does have self checkout. This location is only open till 10pm.

I drove over to pick up my meds at the drive thru- meds ordered for me today by my doctor post surgery. First I was annoyed to find an out of order sign on the window. Getting in and out of the car (being in the car) is painful so I was upset to begin with. Then lo and behold I manage to make my way to the back of the store to find the pharmacy CLOSED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. Once I made it up front I asked why in the world the pharmacy was closed and I got attitude from the cashier when he told me it was closed for break just like it is every day. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE PHARMACY WILL BE CLOSED SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY??? Now I have to either leave and come back, sit in the car and wait or stand around in pain and wait. If nothing else- the sign in the drive thru window could have actually said the TRUTH- that the pharmacy was closed until 2 rather than saying out of order, please come inside. It would have saved me a lot of pain and annoyance. Do better CVS. SERIOUSLY. DO BETTER.
