“This is really a great supermarket with a clean environment and tidy shelves. The meat section is also very clean, and most importantly, the variety of products is extremely comprehensive! There are plenty of discounts, and I really like it here! The parking lot is also very large, making it very convenient.”
“This is a great store. I've been using it for about a year since I moved to this area. Staff are friendly. However, can the manager please tell the cashiers to remind everyone that each register has a line! Or perhaps you could put a sign? I used to go to the one in Union (which is much busier) but the cashiers always made announcements that each register had a line. Thank you.”

“Great selection of close out deals. They have an insiders card which gives great discounts. It is easy to miss but is in part of the old Walmart space near Best Buy off route 1. The location does close a bit early at 7.”
“I happen to be in the area for the first time in about 15 years. It was great to see the development. I went into the market for to find some lunch. They had a great section with premade sandwiches package with the soda and chips. Staff is really nice store was organized and clean. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area.”

“I am always in an Aldi store. The prices are pretty good. Fruits and vegetables are hit or miss on freshness and quantity. It all depends on when you go shopping. The store can be messy on occasion but again it depends on when and what time you decide to shop.”
“Excellent customer service! When my first shipment was delivered I noticed that the produce wasn’t fresh enough. This was totally on the shipping company as they didn’t deliver the produce in a timely manner. It was supposed to be “2 day shipping” but unfortunately it took them 5 days to deliver. Upon contacting Basil Grocery, they immediately sent me the same produce with no charge. Unfortunately, the shipment company failed to deliver the produce in a timely manner again. I contacted Basil Grocery and explained them the issue. This time, they used a different company to ship the produce with no extra charge. They took full responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction. They were very quick to respond. I received my produce (Erik / plums) nice and fresh. I highly recommend Basil Grocery.”
“Finally found where to get my Filipino and Asian essentials all-in-one stop! ? So glad that this supermarket has a w--i--d--e variety of foodstuffs from fresh fish, meats, produce, canned goods, drinks, etc. And especially happy that they sell Jersey Condensed Creamer, here on the East Coast!! ?????”
“The store is decent and I always enjoyed shopping here up until today. The black lady cashier who was there on 6/16/24 between 2-2:30pm is a complete and utter racist and she was treating customers differently based on their skin color. Unless you were also black (the woman in front of me was and boy was she treated a whole lot differently than me and the Muslim family behind me) you didn’t get a proper greeting let alone spoken to with the any respect at all. Not even a simple “have a nice day”. Completely unacceptable! I will be contacting corporate first thing tomorrow morning to file a complaint!”

And while I haven't seen Eunice herself in years, her son has done an amazing job of keeping the place going. “Great clean pleasant nice parking area in the side and back automatic doors to make it easier to get in well regulated store temperature beautiful yummy mostly fleshing takeout open when the store does, Delicious looking tuna wraps and egg salad wraps packaged very appealing with a yummy cucumber etc, keep it up a fan from Lakewood! To sum it up it’s just as well stocked as a grocery in any major Jewish area in tri state all your favorites!!”

“Prices are a bit high but you will most definitely find good quality produce (not sure about meat, drinks, shelf items etc) as far as a alkaline diet is concerned you will find sour orange, cactus, cactus pears, Dominican avocados, baby and burro bananas, watercress, cilantro macho, hot peppers, plum tomatoes etc.”

“Just ran in for a few items that Walmart did not have today and was able to pick up a nice orchid for my wife for Mother’s Day as well. Overall prices are decent at Stop & Shop however, meats and poultry are always higher priced and then they mark down as it gets closer to the expiration, most frustrating if they would just do a better price from the beginning, it would probably move quicker.”
