I would never use this company again or recommend them. There salesman AKA worthless will face time you 2 times give you so line about averages and it’s 1500lbs per room and just blow smoke and because they charge by weight there estimates do mean diddly. Then they promise a tractor trailer and a straight truck shows up and you can’t fit anything. Then they overpack and over charge o wait then they don’t allow you to view the lite weight heavy weight fueling receipts and then they don’t provide you the BOL’s when they leave the pick up or the deliver location no you have to wait 10 days for them to email it to you……… Can you say FMCSA? They literally wrap 1 knife in 5 pieces of moving paper 2 rolls of used tape in 10 sheets of moving paper and didn’t wrap wife’s antique chair that they broke. They unpacked dressers drawers never telling us or we would have done that nope zero communication and now we can find items. They are like no other moving company I’ve dealt with just terrible what a nightmare. O and I made 3 moves with a 14 enclosed trailer and they still didn’t fit everything because I was told a tractor trailer driver was coming from DE to pick up in VA and deliver in PA nope straight from NJ to VA to NJ then to PA YUP that made sense to me go back to NJ before heading to PA……… what a joke

Recently, I was told that we would be relocating for my job from South Carolina to Connecticut. My company gave me a move package to go with relocation. It started off shaky when the household goods appraiser showed up to estimate our weight and did not listen to anything we said, in turn she added stuff that wasn’t going and just added everything to the estimate which would have put us overweight. But when the driver Michael Angelo and crew from Budd Van Lines showed up everything changed. Micheal made the entire move as easy as he could for a move, if we had questions he got us answers. Mike and his crew did an excellent job packing and loading everything on to the truck. In the end everything came out great, our stuff was delivered with no problems other then us having to change the delivery date for other reasons and Budds got it rescheduled with no complaints thanks to Dave our move coordinator. In all we were very happy in the end with Michael and his crew. They were punctual, communicative and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the services! Would highly recommend him and his team!!

The day of pick up and the day of delivery were amazing. The movers were fantastic and went above and beyond. The office did not do a great job of sticking to originally agreed times and dates. The original delivery date was changed last minute and moved to over a week later! Again movers were fantastic my stuff arrived in great condition, so it was worthwhile using this company, but be prepared to stay on top of the office.

I was very impressed with the move by Derek and his crew. They arrived on time, covered my floors to prevent damage, and cleaned up when they were finished. I have asked for Derek to handle my next move from a storage facility to my new home when construction is finished. Highly recommend this company.

Budd Van Lines has handled several moves my family and I have made over many years and they are consistently professional, honest and a pleasure to work with. I truly appreciate how they take the stress out of what can be an extremely stressful situation. Not all moving companies are the same, Budd Van Lines is exceptional.

This company throws their trash in other companies trash roll off boxes etc.. In our case they came to our business after hours and threw their packing paper, cut boxes, full boxes etc on top of our already full trash container. Their trash blew into the street, across into the parking lots next door, in the wood and all over our yard. We have tried contacting them multiple time and they will not call back. Their help e-mail is not actually active. I was contacted and the rep was very apologetic, professional and responsive. We all mess up. The great ones make up for it. Thank you!

If I could give 0 stars I would. But since the lowest is 1 star I’ll give that because the people who packed my stuff were nice. They had my stuff for 3 weeks before we had to have the ceo of the company calls us because they weren’t delivering our items. The people that dropped our stuff off were also supposed to unpack they didn’t they just threw our stuff inside our house and hurried us up to leave. They lost the top of our dining room table and several boxes. During the delivery of my husband’s tool box they didn’t have it strapped down so they dropped it on its back causing my husband to lose several tools. They stole several items because I saw them on the truck but they never delivered them. They have absolutely no motivation to actually follow up with you. When you bring an issue up you are responsible to make sure they stay on top of their work to the point you have to call multiple people multiple times a day, hints the reason we had the CEO of the company involved in getting our stuff delivered. We are over a month from when our stuff was packed up and taken and we still don’t have all of our belongings and they have no idea where they are.

When I was told that we would be relocating for my husband’s job I absolutely dreaded it. But then I spoke with Nancy Muniz from Budd Van Lines and everything changed. Nancy made the entire process so easy, even when we got unexpected snow in the middle of our move. When Robert and the guys showed up with the truck on the day of the move I didn’t know what to think except WOW! I was stunned and couldn’t believe my eyes. The guys got to work quickly. We had so many boxes everywhere. They had a 2 story house approx 2700 sq ft (5 bedroom, 3 bathroom with a loft and dining room) packed and loaded in the truck in less than 8 hours. The next day proved to be another challenge. The truck wouldn’t fit down the road for the new house due to low trees and a narrow road but the guys figured it out. They rented a small U-Haul truck and had to unload into that to bring the stuff to the house and they did the numerous trips without a complaint. I am so very thankful for both Nancy and Robert and all the guys for everything. They stayed in constant contact with us via phone calls, text messages or emails. I am so very GREATFUL and THANKFUL for Nancy, Robert, the entire moving crew of guys at my house and Budd Van Lines for how easy this was. I definitely could not of packed and moved my house on my own in 3 days. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We have used Budd Van lines for two cross country moves - first from MN to FL and then several years later from FL to DE. If I had to use one word to describe our experience with them it would be “exceptional”.
We’ve experienced corporate moves before and while neither of our moves with Budd were corporate funded, the level of professionalism from start to finish was on par with - even better than - the corporate moves we experienced. We started with a video walk through of our house to assess inventory after which they helped us determine which specific services we would use. They were very flexible and we ended up packing certain rooms ourselves to save money and had them pack things, like fragile items that needed expert packing. We had some specialty items like an 82” TV and an ornate (and massive) driftwood foyer table that they crated specially for us. Not a single item was damaged over two cross country moves!!
Love Budd Van Lines and highly recommend them !!!

My husband and I recently moved from NJ to Georgia. The service provided by Mark and his team, including James, was stellar. Mark and his team were very courteous and efficient. Mark kept us up to date throughout every step of the move. Ours was a more complicated move, as our belongings were going to two different locations. Mark and his team provided seamless service. Their attention to detail was unsurpassed - they even wrapped and labeled the wires for our exercise bike and TV accessories!
We highly recommend Budd Van Lines. Kudos to Mark, James and the rest of the team!

Prompt response to phone calls and emails, to questions and the assistance needed to eventually gather family treasures in a container for an overseas shipment we never dreamed was possible!!
