Hotel has some strange characters ( people ) . Room clean to the eye but bathroom was disgusting! Pee ring around the toilet .. the bathroom has hair on the floor. Not one time did I see a cleaning lady in over 48 hours. The hall way smells good. As for the room itself very musty like there’s mold some where my sinuses very stuffed due to the moisture in the room! Tv does not connect to the internet even brought Apple TV and it did not work because of the tv itself . Management on the phones all night and day ( cell phones ) electrical sockets coming out of the wall when cord is pulled out ! Sheets & blankets smell like outside or a jail house detergent over just not a good experience besides local food places ! As for a stay would not recommended. They also allow dogs which is nice but it’s just a business fetch to get animal lovers here.! Cookies were on the floor in the hall by elevator for well over 18 hours! Just lack of cleanliness over all

UPDATE 1/28/25 ... After being promised by the manager that he would make this right by at least an offer of some Travel Pass Points being refunded I was told today (after calling on two separate occasions) that case was closed with no refund. This is proof positive that this is an establishment that does not care. I will NEVER recommend this nor ANY Sonesta ever again! Beware, this could happen to you!
I cannot say enough about how HORRIBLE this hotel is. We were greeted by an uncooperative person at the desk who said she couldn't find out reservation and that I could call customer service. We HAD reservations, I had the confirmation, but it still took nearly an hour to get us checked into a room. And what a room it was ... it STUNK, it was RUNDOWN, things were broken or missing (a mirror was just a frame on the wall). We had ONE roll of toilet paper, had to request one roll at a time. We were sent to find housekeeping to get clean towels. I am a rewards member, and I can tell you I will NEVER stay at Sonesta ever again. After being a rewards member at Marriott for years, I can tell you that Sonesta should take a lesson from them. UPGRADE your hotels, TRAIN your staff, VALUE your customers before you lose more than just me!
Rooms: Dirty and rundown!
Safety: The place looks like it attracts very shady characters!

I booked with this hotel from a credit card company. Staff named Carmen refused to help me. Placed me on the phone for 38 minutes. Had to call back to ask her questions and try to get the room that I book that she stayed wasn’t in the system. She refused to talk to capital
one customer service 3 way call to get it figured out. And screamed on the phone called me a liar and was hostile screaming at me until I hung up. I was afraid to go into the establishment alone and had to have my credit card company advocate on my behalf to help me get the room and bring my boyfriend as a witness because I was afraid
she was going to call the cops on me and say I was hostile or threatened her or something. I am disabled, ambulatory wheelchair user, and chronically ill. The phone call started because I was running late due to a flare up of my disease
and wanted to seek if I was late if I wouldn’t loose my room. It turned into a complete disaster after this call and made me feel unsafe. I’m astonished by the way I was treated by this woman and cannot believe my credit card company had to advocate on my behalf to help me get a room. This place should not be running. Never coming back. Don’t even want to put a star.

Staff was not friendly. It was 3:45 pm and a woman at the front deck ignored me for 5 minutes then said. I'm not clocked in, so I'll check you in when I clock in at 4pm.

The woman at the front desk in the evenings needs to be fired. She is horribly rude.
Otherwise, the hotel is actually quite good value for the price.

I liked this cute hotel. I'm sad it didn't have a pool, but it's ok. I checked in a little after 12 a.m., and I liked how someone was still at the front desk to receive me and give me a room key. Big brownie points for that!! I was on the 3rd floor, the elevator worked, and my room was clean . I had about 10 hangers in the roomy closet. There was a kitchen with a stove top, full-size clean refrigerator, AND THERE IS EVEN AN ICE MAKER IN THE FREZZER!! Make that if you love ice, push the leaver down and keep it down when you check in so that ice maker can start to be made because it took a while for mines to start flowing!I didn't like how there was only one small pot in the cabinets. There were no pans, so I could not make my steak and eggs that I bought with me. The bed was so soft, nice carpet and the a.c worked !

I was very unhappy with my visit yesterday as my family had booked rooms and I got to thinking maybe I should call and double check as we were 7 hours away just to make sure we have somewhere cozy to stay after a long drive. Well, as hotels are under the “hospitality” industry, this place was FAR from providing hospitality. I understand you have rules to follow and anyone can understand that especially my family who works in the service industry; but, what is important when dealing with these situations is to show empathy and to be sympathetic to those who come to your place for hospitality and you show absolutely no compassion, worry, or care in the world. It’s unfortunate how carless these two ladies were at the front desk and I will NEVER step foot in a place like this again. And if you needed a manager? Oh…there was NOT ONE in the building. If you’re looking for a place that shows they care to take you in, this is NOT the place. I understand we all have bad days but this was unacceptable.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with customer service. I received no help when an issue had occurred with my reservation. Then when I arrived after driving 24 hours straight I am told I have no room and they can do nothing about it. The front desk made me wait for them to finish their conversation on how to spell adjust, after not even saying a word to me nor give me a glance to acknowledge a guest coming in. I do NOT recommend this hotel nor will I be booking again due to the careless staff, as well as many other complications. Many reviews I notice mention how rude the front desk is and clearly nothing has been done about them. There are no managers to talk to and being that I worked in HR management myself I am appalled at how I was treated yesterday. Not one effort was made by anyone, they have no managers or any higher ups to talk to.

This is by far the worst customer service i’ve received from a staff overall from any hotel i’ve ever visited. From Tiffany over the phone being flat out rude with a nasty attitude, saying there is NO manager on the clock at 3pm on a Wednesday. To the front desk ladies at nights overall lack of urgency to work with potential guests and attitude aswell, I’ll be sure to never book here again.

Depending on what a person is looking for: you need a car to be there (there is no train/bus within walking distance), the gym has a couple of machines (not new generation).
It worked for me. I had a car, a washing machine and clothes dryer worked, the gym was enough for me, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Rooms: Comfortable, with kitchen.
Nearby activities: Activities nearby, no less than 3-4 miles.
Safety: I felt safe.
Walkability: The streets do not have sidewalks however, the streets are not very busy.
Food and drinks: The hotel does not offer food. At the reception they have free coffee and some items for sale (cookies, now, noodles)

I come here often when I’m in town for work. The rooms are spacious & well maintained. Kitchen area comes with a few accommodations & a dish washer. Lightly stocked with equipment to cook as well. Some rooms offer a private bedding area, while others are a bit smaller.
One of the best perks they offer is a free washing and drying area, located next to a decent sized gym. I always have a great experience here, except for the service provided by some of the staff. Majority of them are super nice and friendly.
09/25/24 between 6-6:30pm the woman at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude to me. I asked about purchasing a beverage while another guest was filling out paperwork. (They were not exchanging any words) & after a wait. I decided to ask if I could purchase a beverage and she immediately snapped at me. She was very nasty with the way she spoke & decided to take another guest before accommodating me. So after waiting 30 minutes and being blatantly disrespected by this woman I wasn’t even able to purchase my drink. Terrible experience , from a place I frequent and thoroughly enjoy coming too. She refused to provide her name.
Noteworthy details: Some members of the staff are very rude.

This was our first subpar experience staying at a Sonesta brand. For the first 2 days the toilet didn't flush properly so we kept having issues with using the toilet until maintenance finally was able to come and fix it. The TVs in both rooms had no internet so we weren't able to watch Netflix, YouTube, could cast to watch from our phones or laptop. Even though those features were available it just kept saying no internet connection and we couldn't figure out how to even find the Wi-Fi networks. Front desk said that it's a new system so they're not familiar with it either. There were l over the blanket had dirt marks look like someone stepped on the bed with their shoes on from outside so we had shoe print on our blankets stains on our pillows are black market on the fitted sheet so so we actually completely knew better. The table that's separated the kitchen from the living room squeaked on every movement every walk every time we open the refrigerator every time we sat to eat it just kept squealing and squeaking. The iron kept shutting off on us every time we try to use it. The gym is being renovated so it is temporarily out of order no big deal there are about 7 trillion containers in the parking lot and I'm assuming that has to do with the renovations the parking spaces are adequate and sufficient. And finally the AC system is completely horrible, you barely feel anything especially at night. We woke up sweating every night even though we set the cool settings to the lowest temperature. Other than the complaints I have to say the staff was very friendly and polite. The hotel itself was very clean, no musty smoke lingering in the halls and room. There is a nice patio like setting in the back with a few lounge chairs and 2 grills. Very quiet and quaint and very close to shopping malls, restaurants, fast food, Urgent Care, Hospitals, Tesla chargers, movie theaters etc. Overall it was a decent 4 day stay even with the inconveniences.
