By far the absolute worst service imaginable. We had begun fostering a 5 year old Husky threw a local rescue that had an account opened with this vet. We had brought him at first due to the fact that he had inflammation in his digestive system. Dr. Bloom was extremely nasty to my fiancé. Ignoring all of her questions and barely wanting to speak a word as if someone pissed in his cheerios that morning. But that's fine, we moved on from that. When we finally decided we wanted to adopt our foster dog, we thought it would be a good idea to do an allergy test in order to ensure that the inflammation does not come back and continue to keep our dog in pain. We were told that the test would only take about a week to get the results back, well fast forward 2 months. they claimed to have lost our phone number, after I had given them both our cell phone numbers. They also explained that they did not run a food allergy test, and only environmental, when the entire purpose of us having the test performed was to eliminate any food based allergies from his diet and they knew that when we originally made the appointment. It disgusts me how people that attend schooling for this career field and are supposed to have a passion for all animals can show such disregard towards an animals life and comfort. Dr. Bloom is outright rude and nasty, and his staff seems to throw every excuse in the book at you to cover their own asses. I strongly advise looking into other clinics for your animal, it is not worth the money, time, or risk. These people cannot be trusted.

I have to say I understand how the veterinary field works. Things happen. Staff can be short handed. Ive been there. In any case. I was so thankful they could get my pet in. I was however put off by how they placed me in a surgical room to wait. There was blood on the floor. The matt on the table was Worn down, strands open, uncleaned. The mat had white particals all over it. Skin? Who knows. After a tech walked in I brought it to her attention right away. She then moved me there after. I just don't know if I would truly ever return.

I have been bringing my puppy here for a few months and as much as I didn't want to have to write this, I am. I waited for over 40 minutes with a very anxious and sick puppy. I understand emergencies occur but someone from the office should have kept me abreast of what was happening and how many patients were ahead of me.

I really didn't wanna write this review, but after how I was treated I figured I needed to express my total dissatisfaction with the clinic. We have known Dr. Bloom for the past 10 years or so when he was still in Woodbridge. Took my mom there with her dog to get papers signed for international travel. I also took my dog Daisy when she was very sick before she passed away. Doctor was always nice and we were happy with the service. Being that he is no longer in Woodbridge so it's a far drive for us to see him now, so we go to a local Vet near us. Since the last time I saw Dr. Bloom I have adopted 3 more dogs. One of them has been having sever constipation and the local Vet I took her to said I should go to a specialist who can examine her to rule out a tumor in her colon as he was not comfortable doing it himself if we need surgery. Since I knew Dr. Bloom (I didn't just wanna take my dog to a random place) I called his clinic March 14th. The receptionist told me that he doesn't work on Mondays. So, I left it at that since Mondays is my only day off from work. To my surprise an hour later Dr. Bloom called me up asking me how he can help. I told him what is going on with my dog, he said to e-mail him bloodwork and any x-rays I have and to give him a day or two to review it. I sent it to him that same day!!! Not a word from him since. I called the clinic numerous times to follow-up. Each time the receptionist took the message, I think I even spoke to the other Vet there too. They all kept telling me they'll give the message to the doctor and NOTHING. Zero reply to my e-mail as well. How does a vet keep their patients hanging like this???? Why did he ask me to e-mail him copies of the bloodwork and x-ray than??? If he doesn't wanna help, than he should at least have the decency to call me up and tell me to go someplace else. Not cool doc. Shame on you!

The staff is so nice. I went in on Friday with my dog. They ran some tests and unfortunately it turned out that she had late stage cancer. When I called yesterday the vet called me back right away and made time for us to bring her in and gave us as much time as we needed to be with her and they made it easier. No matter how you look at these things they are never easy but they made it a little easier. The vet is so nice and makes sure you know all your options and will help you through the process. They really take the time to make sure you have all options. The staff and vet that helped us really went out of their way to make sure that we had what we needed to get through the process. They were there for us when we needed it and gave us our time to say goodbye and grieve. I will always go to this vet and would recommend them to anyone and everyone that is in the market for a new veterinarian.

Very grateful for the staff here that fit our foster pup in so quickly. He had one of his eyes removed and we needed it checked out asap. Since this Vet is closer to us and affiliated with the rescue group we were able to be seen. The entire staff was professional and caring. Very grateful to them! Annekin says thanks!!

Would not recommend. My cat had cancer and Dr. Bloom said the the lump he felt in her right mammary tract might be a cyst and to delay surgery. He was wrong. She got much worse. A previous doctor examined her and concluded she had mammary gland tumors in the left and right mammary tracts. Dr. Bloom insisted on delaying surgery on the right mammary tract. The previous doctor didn't do a biopsy because he knew they were cancer which was validated when the left mammary tract was removed.. He saw them and strongly recommend the removal of the other tract. This kind of cancer doesn't occur in only one mammary tract. Dr.Bloom didnt bother to take seriously the records from the other doctor or to consult with him. My cat's cancer spread more quickly.

Dr. Bloom and his staff are the real deal! So friendly, honest and loving. They truly care about your pet. We have taken our pets to Dr. Bloom for many many years, even before he moved to this location and we will take the 40 minute ride without hesitation because we know our fur babies will always be taken care of with the utmost professionalism. Also, very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

When it was recommended to visit Dr. Bloom's practice, our family was a little reticent not knowing what to expect. But from the day we stepped into the hospital, our fear of it just being another animal facility was immediately erased.Dr. Bloom and his staff deeply care about our pets, understanding that they're an integral part of our families. His knowledge, care, and gentle demeanor put him on top of all the vets we have gone to over the years. He is open and honest and his staff sincerely care about our pets as their eyes light up when they see them. Everyone is gentle, kind, and tries to be accommodating even during their busiest times. They keep track of our pet's needs and are not afraid, to be honest about their conditions.I highly recommend Dr. Bloom, his staff, and practice and look forward to continuing with him forever!

On the day that my dog passed away, I had to rush over before they closed. Once I got there nobody escorted me to a private room, instead I stood in the lobby holding my deceased dog in one arm signing paperwork with my free hand. Made me feel like I was dropping off a package at a UPS store. Was very awkward because the lobby had other people who felt uncomfortable seeing me with my deceased dog while they were there with their pets. Eventually after all the paperwork was done I was brought into a room where I was able to lay him down. Customer service was very poor in a very delicate moment that kinda seemed like common sense. I even called ahead of time to let them know I was coming, any they still handled it this way. Shame.
