Rude customer service in person.
I called ahead of time. Told them I would be arriving 30 minutes before closing with my two kids. I was told no problem as long as I did not show like 10 minutes as they wanted to spend their time. Pleasant conversation on the phone.
I showed up in person. The lady at the counter was abrupt and rude from the beginning. She started complaining about having to stay until 6:30. Challenged us that we would not find another place open past 6. Guess what, we did and left. Will not be going back. Your salon lost money as you should not treat customers like that.

Been paying $70 for a shampoo, haircut and blowout at another salon the past few years. Not even an upscale salon, just a well known chain here in NJ. Decided to try Great Clips in Freehold after hearing my sister rave about it. Melanie was my hairdresser and we had a nice convo and I absolutely love my haircut. And the price, $27, was beyond reasonable! I didnt even realize after the pandemic that there was such a great deal like that anywhere!! The place was hopping, I loved the online check in. Unlike the appt setting at the other place where at 10am on any given day during the week there was one hairdresser and no other customers. Thanks Melanie and Great Clips! The price allowed me to give a great tip!

We’ve been here previously and my husband got a lovely cut from a lovely woman I wish I could remember her name, however we came in for his most recent cut and a different worker, named Gina, in front of paying customers expressed how she’s gotta say “no habla espanol” and that “this is America and we speak English” your views are your views but your at work, in front of customers, safe to say we will not be back. Shame on her

They wouldn’t give me a haircut even though it was slow, for the fact that I wouldn’t give my phone number for privacy reasons. I’m sure they are fine stylists, but that’s a ridiculous rule.

Most of the stylists are good however the owner works them hard & has them do things that a manager should do. She has a bad reputation as a horrible difficult boss & treats employees badly.
The bathroom has a heavy chemical cleaner smell & I nearly passed out.
Parking can be a problem at that shopping center at times.
I & my family go to another location due to all the above reasons.

Been here a few times, and they let someone who wasn't signed in jump ahead of someone else. Third time it happened I won't go back now.
