I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. We ordered our sectional and 2 chairs in October. It had to be paid IN FULL on that date. We were told it would most likely be delivered to our home by Thanksgiving. Lee assured us she would keep on them about quick delivery. It was not delivered. Then we were told Dec. 11. Then we were told before Christmas. Now we are being told January 5 or so. My many phone calls and texts (to Lee) are going unanswered!! Nobody gives us any information as to reliable delivery dates. Nobody is nice about any of this. I should have ordered from somewhere else.

I purchased a chase sofa March 2022. I also purchased a full ins/warranty policy for 5 years. At least that's what I was told. Until my sofa fabric started falling apart , seams splitting , fabric tearing , stretching, balling and became rough to the touch. Keep in mind I live alone and no pets , no parties I basically sit on it at night and watch tv. I tried to file a claim I was turned down because it wasn't an accident. It was from regular use, which I was not covered for. Regular use??? A sofa fabric should not fall apart in a year!! I went back to Huffman Koos and the women I spoke to were very nice, but the only thing they offered me was new fabric cushions casings for two of the cushions for $100. I explained to them several times in an email that it's a tufted piece of furniture that have elastic running through them to secure the buttons, I have no clue how to detach and reattach attach the cushions they've completely ignored me. I did get prices to have it professionally done with the casings huffman was offering me. Prices were over $500. I would never purchase from them again. I will tell everyone I can about my experience. I have purchased several couches over my lifetime that endured kids , pets and lots of parties and never ever had such an issue! I should have bought from Bobs lol! Buyer beware !

I purchased a leather couch, loveseat and recliner in Jan 2023 and left a deposit in good faith and the receipt said that we could expect delivery with 8-12 weeks. In June of 2023 i contacted HK in Freehold and they told me that the manufacturer contacted them in February of 2023 that the fabric had been discontinued but no one contacted us. So, in June of 2023 we reordered with new fabric and was told the shipment would be in after 9/2/23. I called on 9/2/23 and no shipment, i received a call on 9/4 to expect a shipment the week of 9/11/23. I called on 9/11/23 and they are expecting a shipment on 9/14/23 and that they would call us. I spoke with the asst manager EVAN, and she was rude and told me that there was nothing she could do for me, and that the sale was FINAL. I told her that my receipt didn't say that, and she SCREAMED "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR RECEIPT SAYS, I AM TELLING YOU WILL DO NOTHING FOR YOU."

My salesman Irish made my house a HOME. I honestly wish I took out a bigger mortgage and bought a bigger house so I could buy more couches from Irish. I bought 1 couch off the floor and had it in a week. I custom ordered another and had it in under 4 weeks. Irish also gave me a great deal on a 60 pound panther made of mirrors, which looks amazing in my parlor. LEGEND.

Purchased a sectional based off of the advertisement on line showing 6 seats plus a console. When testing it out in store only 5 seats were on the floor and when I asked if there was an additional seat I was told numerous times from Irish and Lee that there was an additional piece in the back. I again made it clear I wanted the couch due to the seating and confirmed again there was 6 seats. When sectional was delivered I only got 5. I went back to the store an both Lee and Irish said to send emails and it would be resolved that the additional seat will be delivered after a week of getting no where via email I went back to the store and was given phone numbers of higher ups. Messages were left but based off these reviews ill most likely get no where. Huffman Koos and staff are cons, stay far away from here because they false advertise and dont take accountability for their mistakes.

I have never in my life dealt with a company that has been run so poorly. They are liars and thieves. I never write reviews, but this store has lied to me on multiple occasions and has screwed me over beyond belief. I went to extensive measures to have communication with the company and gave them many chances to fix the dilemmas that they created. after a month of being screwed over by them I demanded a refund and still they would not give it to me. Eventually I had to dispute the charges and file a complaint with consumer affairs. Do not shop here.

bought a group of furniture 1/2 the pieces came damaged i was asked to accept it and they would send someone over th fix the scratches that was 6 weeks ago with 2 visits to the store now to stop the CC

Stay away, this guy is going out of business and is shipping old furniture from the stores that he has already closed. It is just a matter of time before this once proud brand is GONE and you have no warranty. Do not believe the positive reviews, one look at the store will tell you all that you need to know. The staff at the store are liquidators, meaning that they are selling all that they can as fast as they can and then move on to the next failing enterprise. Ask them who the work for HK or a liquidator?

Yes I purchased a sectional couch and it seems to be Crooked. I called the salesman several times and spoke to him and he said they would be reaching out to me and now it is over 1 month with no contact from Hofmann koos. I guess people were right about the service

So apparently this store has been going out of business for at least a year. Went looking for a couch, not much of a selection and prices are very high, even with the discount of the store closing.

I ordered a sofa and love seat. I love the furniture but customer service is not what I would expect frim an established business. They told me I was scheduled for delivery not once, not twice, not three times but four times before I actually received delivery. At one point they told me their records show I received delivery when in fact I did not. The manager, Carole, told me more then once I would receive credit for delivery charges. Have not received that credit yet and I don't expect I will. The delivery people also scratched my brand new hardwood floor in two places! They have beautiful furniture but I could not in good faith recommend them.

I have been to a huge clearance there and furnished my whole house including a very unusual floor lamp that weighs a ton and a grandfather clock dining room owner bedroom and living room. Afordable!

Worst experience. They say only floor samples are final sale but anything you buy from that store is final sale. Even though it’s in bad condition you have to wait for them to deliver the next piece which takes longer and again the same thing repeats. New stuff also in a bad condition. Estimate twice as long as the wait as the first one delivered will be in the worst condition…

Been waiting since September 2021 for Furniture delivery!!! Now they are telling me October 2022! They have been paid in full since last year. We ordered a kitchen set which we did receive December 2021. We really want this set. Hard for my Husband and I to agree on furniture. When we finally found this set that we both liked we ordered it. Never thinking the delivery date would change 5 times!!!

DO. NOT. GIVE. THEM. YOUR. BUSINESS. Purchased a couch in January, was told it would be delivered by June. Heard nothing, called at the end of July, was told it was actually there already but no one bothered to tell us or schedule delivery.Come delivery date, today, Saturday, it’s delivered to the wrong address, and they turned around and went back. After calling both Freehold and corporate half a dozen times, the message was finally relayed from the “warehouse manager” that “he won’t know anything until Monday” and they’ll reschedule delivery then. When finally connected directly to “warehouse manager,” they refuse to even pick up.In regards to not knowing anything until Monday, they have the very same paperwork we have, which provides the delivery address. The “warehouse” manager doesn’t need to physically be there to assess the situation, since the store itself and its delivery drivers also have that information. The same paperwork, btw, says that if it’s not delivered by august 1st, it will be delivered on a date of our choosing or a full refund given.This place is a complete clown show. If you had just rectified this final straw by actually delivering to the correct address after going to the wrong one, I’d never have bothered writing this. Despite all the other incompetence. Now it’s getting copy and pasted to every review site I can find.
