I found out about Kiddie Academy of Freehold from a friend back in 2021. I was a new mom and new to NJ so I just went with it even though it’s a 25 min drive from our home. The reason I started my daughter at a daycare is because she was a “Covid baby” and I wanted her to start socializing. But truly, I feel we got so much more out of this. After she adjusted, I really saw her developing much faster. Going over letters, shapes, numbers and colors every day along with a little art project she made to take home and hang on our wall. They use Tadpoles app to keep track of diaper changes and meals. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are also included in the tuition (a big plus in my book since I didn’t have to worry about cooking the night before, saving me time). And of course, the pictures they take of them are so adorable. KA is also the only place I know that has a camera that the parent can access during the day, so you can see what they’re up to for piece of mind. Some other things I really will miss are the events they have. The Halloween parade, the pumpkin painting contest, the Valentine’s Day dance, Mother’s day and Father’s day events, and the end of the year performance from almost all the grades is just so special. For the summer they make sure the kids are busy with fun activities and invite outside vendors to entertain the kids. You can also sign them up for dance or soccer lessons. One sweet touch they do is have a pianist come by to play songs for them. I also have to mention that even though there have been some staff changes through our time there, everyone has been kind and as helpful as they can. Miss Kristi and Miss Jessica always addressed my concerns. Miss Jeanette and Miss Kelly were so encouraging and kind to my oldest, and she had learned so much! And Miss Kikki was so patient with my youngest who is a sensitive girl and took her time to open up. There was no doubt Miss Kikki made a strong connection with her causing her vocabulary to expand quickly along with the confidence to express herself. One of the cutest surprises was seeing her come home with a new hairstyle almost every time. I felt like I was picking her up from the salon! During our time at KA I had been pregnant, working, and made the decision to go back to school myself. I have so much gratitude towards this place as I went through this stage of my life. But I also feel they deserve such recognition because so many places have taken away such things but this place has somehow kept it all.

There is no love for the children hereMy 13 month old looked traumatized everytime I picked him up from there .They dropped a toy truck on his head while he was sleeping and never even mentioned it to me , I saw it on the camera. He wasn’t a walker yet and had him in the walker room so he was crawling around on the dirty floor all day while the other kids had their shoes on .The babies would try to get a reaction out of the teachers and helpers and they would just be staring into space .My son didn’t even know how to sit in a chair yet and they had him eating at a table and chairs , he would slide down and be stuck by his neck screaming crying and no one would even care or notice . I don’t know if the staff is underpaid or just not qualified to work with children .The front desk is oblivious to what is actually happening all day , no communication. Now let’s get to summer campMy 2 girls who were 6 and 7 would be hanging out with the 13 and 14 year old girls watching their phone so they wouldCome home learning tick tok dances it was insane that they would blend these totally different age groups together.I pulled my son out in a few weeks it was my first day care experience and it was a nightmare . Since then we moved on and it has been nothing but pleasant everyday my son is sooo happy as well as we .

My daughter who is now 15 months started at KA just after turning 1. These first 3 months have been wonderful. This is largely due to her amazing teacher Miss Kikki! She greets my daughter every day with love and I know she is being taken care of very well! I love seeing the pictures of circle time, coloring time and playing outside. The app allows me to check in during the day and see what she’s doing and she’s always having fun. When I mention Miss Kikki at home my daughter goes and gets her shoes and is ready to go out of the door! She loves her! I know she is in great hands with Miss Kikki when I drop her off and I’ve always felt comfortable there!

Just started my daughter because we've used Kiddie Academy in the past but the one she was in is full. I felt great talking to the director on the phone and was excited to drop her off. Fast forward to her first day and there is no new parent orientation. I couldn't login to check my daughter into the center. While trying to find the email (my preferred correspondence), I found the menu and it's far from healthy. They are still operating under the old 1920's food pyramid model. Thanks to C virus and food allergies, parents are not allowed to send in food. Also, the paperwork states that a family member can 'drop in' for unannounced visits according to state law, but I was told I'd have to come back. I'm questioning whether it's a state issue, outdated paperwork, or if it's actually breaking the law to not allow me access upon request. I'm just disappointed. After a week of being enrolled, I can share some pros. Her teacher is very nice. They do an excellent job with her daily reports. I was excited to find a video of my girl playing outside. I watch her on video and she looks like she's having a great time. If she gets upset, the teachers are great about comforting her. I'm happy that there is at least some reasons to not be as disappointed.

The Kiddie Academy of Freehold is amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and professional. My son looks forward to going there every day. Also, for the parents whose kids are new to daycare, dont worry, your kids will be safe and secure there. Kids who may be apprehensive at first will quickly adjust (just like our son), as the staff will lovingly reassure them every day. It’s a relief to me as a mother to know that when I drop him off every morning he will be well taken care of. Thank you all ❤️

We have our baby at Kiddie Academy of Freehold. We have to be honest we were super scared when Covid is still running ramped, but since we are back in our offices we had to pick a school. They take such good care of our baby, and are so proactive, that we have been so trusting and have been feeling so safe here. I love their daily reports and the pics I get mid day. She loves coming and we are so happy we have such a loving place for our baby. We love Ms. Kristie and Ms. Laura !!!!! Thank you so much ????

I cannot begin to say how happy I am that I decided to enroll my daughter here during COVID due to her other school being closed. It was the best decision we have made! I have never seen her so happy to get up, get dressed and get into school to begin her day (and see her friends!). The teachers are great and really work with the kids to help them learn and understand their weekly lessons; I have never seen a child so excited to come home and do her homework so they must be doing something right! The staff is so friendly and so personable and treats every child like they are their own. If you are thinking about enrolling your child here get off the computer and call now, I promise you will not be disappointed!

I would have given zero stars if it was an option, but unfortunately it isn't. This school claims to have a rigorous accelerated educational program, however putting children in front of a TV all day does not consist of that. Also, they claim to have certified teachers, but I'd refer to them as glorified babysitters at best. Not only was my child pushed by a "teacher" he was put in timeout isolated from other children. Mind you, he is only 22 months old. When we brought it to their attention they blamed it on a delayed camera and the action appeared to be more aggressive than it seemed live. The "teacher" was not reprimanded nor any action was taken. This school is a joke and nobody seems to be in control. Please use caution when enrolling your child into this school. My child is thriving at his new school. Lastly, if you look at all the other negative reviews the "owner" ignores all the negatives and tries to strongman parents.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. I can say this much, the school is incredible, and the staff go above and beyond for the children. I’m blown away everyday. I would tell anyone this one of the best schools I’ve ever seen for early childhood development. I would highly recommend!
