Got my daughter's ears pierced today. I didn't get the employee's name but she was so helpful and explained the whole process and care instructions. She helped us choose the best earrings for her ear size and pierced both ears at the same time with her coworker. I was so nervous but it was such a wonderful experience!

I’m giving this a 5 star rating thanks to Carmen Gillas. She was the most patient store employee. She was also by herself and managed to help out everyone and answer questions. The only 1 major downside is the website should state that you need to bring birth certificates or possibly other documents with you. People travel from different cities. Even with both parents & matching identification & addresses it doesn’t matter. When booking their appointments nothing ever stated that we needed to bring anything with us. Thanks to Carmen she was able to get everything straightened out & my kids were set to be pierced. Once we got paperwork done and earrings picked out the system crashed. Through it all she maintained professional & very courteous to my family as well as other customers. Once again I strongly suggest advertising what parents need to bring with them for pre-booked appointments or walk ups. It’s a small mall kiosk so people do just show up. This will avoid any confusion. Mostly it will ease up the hostility directed towards your employees from frustrated parents/kids. Overall my kids were very happy & love their new earrings. They are happy that it all worked out.

Banter by Piercing Pagoda at the Freehold Mall is a great location to get your ears pierced. Be sure to bring in the necessary document for your child.

I got there at 7:05 pm to get my ears pierced and waited 20 minutes (at least) before anyone even showed up to the kiosk. I asked for a piercing and the worker there told me that he didn’t want to do anymore today so I couldn’t get it done. Question- what is his job then?I got my previous piercings at a different Banter location and had a great experience so this was disappointing. If I could give it zero I would.

My dad bought 3 necklaces from this place and 2 months later I noticed one of the necklaces was turning black. We went back to see if they could help us with anything but instead we were just ignored and my dad who doesn’t speak much English was patiently waiting. After a while, one of the Hispanic girls told us she could try and wash it and see what would happen. We brought back the necklace but instead of washing it, the same girl told us she couldn’t do that because we didn’t pay “warranty”. Are you serious?? If she had told us from the first place, we wouldn’t have come back.

The girl Yessenia at the stand downstairs by the Victoria's Secret is completely "incompetent" !!! She charged my card twice with over 1000$ taken out of my account and when I came back I was told "I'm sorry you'll have to wait 10 business days" and was sent on my way... Will NEVER purchase here again !

Out of all the times I’ve come here! I arrived at 7:55 pm just to see if I can purchase a ring I’ve been eyeing. Now I understand I was in a crunch because they were closing. However they gesture shouldn’t be able to shut the lights off while a customer is attempting to buy. The guy with the hideous blonde hair shut the light off right in the middle of me attempting to purchase. The lady tried to sell the ring but I was sooooo turned off by his way I left immediately.I hope he’s not a manager because that was very unprofessional

Best for the kids Piercing. Allena, she was very patience with 10 month my daughter and did it precisely the way we wanted. Definitely recommend any one who wants to get their Babies ear piercing.

I had a terrible experience at the Pagoda stand near the JC Penny’s!!!! This was last week and a half ago during the holidays and I was with my mom, who doesn’t speak plenty of English (we are from Estonia) so I had to translate for her. A young brunette woman, probably a teenager was so rude to her and she spoke to my mom like she had better things to do. Like seriously she gave us this sort of “I don’t have time for you!” Vibe and feeling, we felt like we were a huge bother and no customer should feel like that. We left the stand because we were becoming frustrated with her customer service and we went to the one near the food court, where the manager there was so much nicer and helpful to us. So moral of the story- there are 2 Piercing Pagoda stands in the Freehold Mall- the one under the food court is the way to go!!!

I bought some jewelry from the store across the piercing pagoda stand and I wasn't satisfied with it, quality wasn't so great I decided to give the Banter Piercing pagoda stand nearby a shot, the staff was very friendly! They helped me pick out exactly what I needed and the pricing wasn't too shabby at all.

There were three customers before me, I waited for over an hour before I left in utter frustration, after one of the two sales people left. From what I gleamed of the quality of jewelry I saved myself from spending hundreds of dollars on a chain that would surely break. The customer that was before me was bringing their purchase back for a second time, the chain was broken in two places, and when asked for a refund they were denied.I'd rather pay more for good quality and sales help that actually acknowledged their customers

Lied about lost earring insurance replacingTwice pierced my girl as she was a baby , she kept on loosing the earring , they pierced it not good enough straight so I can put my own earrings and the holes closed and the 3rd time we pierced when she is 4 1/2 and I took the insurance as I told her our stories and the lady said insurance is the best option in that case if she looses again. And it happened a few days ago. I went to pagoda location in freehold raceway mall and was not the insurance doesn’t cover. What???? What’s the point of buying it? Especially i told the lady about 2 times of loosing it. Wasted my time and gas! PLEASE BE AWARE ! Triple ask before you buy! They are just making money and making false statements!!!!!
