Went into today to buy Glucocard Expression 50. 50 test strips. Ive been paying $13.00 for a box of 50 for along time.. They said today that the price went up to $70.00. Went online to Amazon. 2 boxes 100 strips total $16.00 ... Richard Saker Shop Rites are the biggest thieves out there. Theyre ripping off the consumer here or the Insurance companies.. Theyre committing fraud and theft..

I spoke with Anthony to get a prescription refilled and transferred. Not only was Anthony rude and gave me false information but he was also extremely unhelpful. Lacking customer service. I spent 3 hours of my morning trying to narrow down where a transferred script from CSV went and also having another script filled by my doctor, whom Anthony should have requested a refill for. I only did these transfers as I live a minute away from Shoprite. Rest assured I will be going back to CVS moving forward. Negative experience and Anthony is not good at what he does.

Came here today after shopping here for years! In an economy that's suffering they are now taking advantage with "fake labels." Ex: Chobain yogurt. Yellow sticker $.49 cents. I observe several customers like myself buying several. After talking to someone stocking tells me they are "not $.49 cents, they are .$49 cents off. Sure. On shelf price says $1.25. Call me stupid like others grabbing a dozen. I get to check out and manager tells me the $1.25 price is a $.49 cent discount. Really? Hmmm. Go to Trader Joe's. Buy their brand. Awesome brand. Shop Rite? Take advantage. Fake stickers. Watch out. These yellow stickers are everywhere. Deceiving. In a poor economy we do not need to buy from a deceiver. High price gauging making us think we are getting a deal. Watch out. $1.25 for a yogurt - on shelf advertised price - with $.49 off yellow sign "suggests" this yogurt should be $.76 cents. No it's not. Why? You can buy Trader Joe's organic that is amazing for less!!!! Shop Rite has been price gauging for years but in this economy does us no favors. Shop smarter. We are consumers, so shop around. This place is full of deception.

The Pharmacy has gone downhill recently, they are rude and never prepared. You go in, they tell you they won't have your rx till the next day, you go in the next day, its not ready, you come back a few hours later, its still not ready, you wait 20-30 minutes at the pharmacy for them to get it together. They used to give me 3 months worth of my medication, now they only give one month because they don't keep it in stock. The newer young girls act like you're a bother to them, when all your asking is for them to do their job. I'm making the switch to CVS or Walgreens both are better.

Everytime I come to this pharmacy they are always a mess and chatting . They get my medicine wrong. Only reason I come here is because is a 2 min walking distance. I waited over 45 mins for them to label 2 boxes. The technicians and the pharmacist are rude.

if you pick up an Estradiol prescription here there is a 50/50 shot that you will be he/him'd by the person working there while talking about your hormone prescription.

One of the worst. Shoprite's in the area. For the past 2 months I have returned items that were on the shelf and out of date , not by a few days but months. Quite obvious someone is not doing their job. If you shop here you will be there twice as long as you need to check the dates on every item you put in your cart. The store is old and crowded and could use some modernizing. I personally will never shop here again, there are too many other stores in the area that care about their customers and try hard not to inconvenience them with out of date goods.

One of the better Shoprites in Central Jersey, around me. Great prices and good places to get my cuts of meat. I prefer my meats to have some fat on them so that they would be juicy when cooking. Their meats are never too lean. Their baked goods and fresh produce are quite good and they are fairly quick usually well-stocked. They also have fresh fish and deli meats departments there. However, the Asian Wok is no longer there. Weekends are usually their busiest time but that is also when they have the best surplus of sale items. Customer service is excellent. It should be noted, they also have a pharmacy in the back by the health and beauty aisles. Parking is never an issue and they do offer curbside pickup but I've never used their curbside pickup so I can only inform of their service.

Since I moved to Freehold, I have been getting medications here ever since. The pharmacist and other people who work here are very friendly. I know it can get busy here but I have no complaints about that. I also shop for groceries here.

A very cute grocery store that has a lot of options in every department. I have been going here for years to do my grocery shopping and they always have exactly what I need. Definitely recommend their fried chicken too- it's always fresh and delicious!!!!
