We really enjoyed our visit here. Clean, organized and filled with unique art including a film that enhanced the experience.
Greeted with a friendly person as we arrived with helpful information and answered our questions
There are 3 floors and they were used without it being cluttered. There's art outside on the grounds as well.
If you like small art galleries I recommend checking this one. Donations accepted

What a gem! ✨ Very interesting art, free to the public and the woman who works there is so thoughtful, kind and helpful. Plus super clean public bathrooms. Highly recommend. Thank you ArtYard!

Not much of an art museum goer I didn't really have any expectations going in today, but how wrong I was. The summer 2025 gallery exhibition throughout the Artyard was amazingly interesting, thought provoking and a sensory delight. My daughter's and I all were thrilled and in awe. Thank you- we'll be back soon.

ArtYard is a true cultural treasure in the heart of Frenchtown. This contemporary art space offers a vibrant and inspiring experience—and best of all, it’s completely free to the public. The building is beautifully designed, with climate control that makes visiting comfortable year-round, and it features two spacious floors filled with stunning, thought-provoking exhibitions.
Each visit offers something new, from large-scale installations to intimate multimedia works, all curated with a bold and creative spirit. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just curious, ArtYard invites you to explore, reflect, and connect. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone in the area—and a powerful example of how art can be both accessible and deeply impactful.

Art Yard is exceptional in so many avenues, both near and far from the sweet streets of Frenchtown, New Jersey. From incredible, inclusive community events and workshops, to national and international artistic, performative, and musical talent, it's a trampoline of joy that takes you up and up.

I’m very grateful to ArtYard for inviting the community to a free, open rehearsal of Davóne Tines and The Truth. I got to hear his incredible voice AND see the intriguing exhibit Barriers.
From what I can tell, ArtYard has created a space that is supporting local artists (and how lucky are we that local means NJ, PA, and NY??) while acting as catalyst for provocative art.
Thank you again. I will be back, hopefully, many times.

ArtYard is a small, hidden gem that is a quick browse yet absolutely worth your gem. They also have a performance theater. The staff was wonderful, and Saxon in particular was inviting.

What an art Center!!
This is one of the kind and I cannot believe it took me this long to visit. The stage area is created perfectly, for the audience and the performer to be able to connect during the performance. This is considered the gem of Frenchtown

I was here last night for The Golden Hour with Joseph Keckler: Lydia Lunch and Sylvia Black. Aside from an amazing, off the charts show, in a great little theatre, this place is very clean with a friendly staff. (And thanks for having soap in your bathroom that doesn't test on animals -- yay!) It's vast, yet cozy. Seems to be some cool art opportunities for the locals. I'd love to come back again. And again.
