I took my car in for front brakes, rotors, and pads. I dropped it off at 9 AM when the shop opened and headed to work. By 2 PM, I hadn’t heard from them, so I called. The tech told me the parts I brought weren’t the right ones. They said the rotors were fine but had to order new pads. Fine, but why wasn’t I called and consulted before they ordered anything? No big deal, I let it slide.A few hours later, I got a call saying the rear brakes were also “on the fritz.” I told them not to touch the rears—I couldn’t afford a full brake overhaul and to focus on the front brakes. The owner then informed me they had to get new rotors as well, which confused me since I was told earlier the rotors were fine. Again, they didn’t call to discuss how I wanted to proceed. They ordered parts without my consent and installed them, costing $223 when I could’ve gotten pads and rotors for $90 elsewhere. When they called to say the car was ready, I asked multiple times for the total cost, but they wouldn’t tell me. They ran my card anyway. When I saw a $538 charge come through, I immediately called back to ask questions. The owner had a terrible attitude, saying the parts I brought were “low quality.” Yeah, buddy, my 1996 Buick is worth $900 max—put the cheap stuff on it! He basically called me poor and said, “The car’s on the lift, what am I supposed to do?” Well, for starters, your tech should’ve known within 10 minutes that the pads and rotors I brought weren’t right. I should’ve been called right away to discuss options. I told the owner I would’ve asked them to put the old pads and rotors back on, and I’d get the correct parts myself. He basically told me to go elsewhere.By the way, I’m a local farmer in this area, so good job ripping off a local, bud.The whole process was a mess. It takes 20 minutes tops to swap pads and rotors—eight bolts total. If they had communicated, I could’ve returned the same day or the next with the right parts. Instead, they ordered expensive, top-tier parts for an old Buick without consulting me.This place is a scam. Don’t go here. There are plenty of honest mechanics around. They won’t keep you updated, they’ll order parts without your approval, and you’ll get a bill double the quoted amount—$200–$250 was the original quote with my parts! On top of that, you’ll deal with a rude old man who needs to retire. Stay away!

Brought my Mercedes-Benz in for brakes and a power steering issue, and they handled it on priority with real skill. This is a family-run shop, and you feel that the moment you deal with them—honest, welcoming, and upfront with pricing. What stood out most was their confidence with European cars; they clearly know the ins and outs of Mercedes and other imports, which put me completely at ease. Service was quick, communication was excellent, and the whole experience felt like family looking out for me and my car. Special thanks to Jack & Nick!! See you again!!

I love Vac’s! Lovely people, good work, fair pricing. Feels like they really care for their customers and are in it for the long haul. And Tony has a great sense of humor. I’ve sent two friends here to have work done and they are now regular customers as well.

This place is the most ran down, disrespectful non-customer oriented place that I have ever walked into these people steal money from you. They don't care about their quality of work, nor the people that they are serving.

The guys here are the absolute best!! I would recommend them to anyone! Trustworthy, reasonable, down-to-earth, reliable, kind. So glad I found this gem of a shop.
Added bonus is that their dog is usually walking around the shop/property. He is so sweet and friendly!
Thanks again for everything guys!
