“My husband and I were in such need of a reset and relaxing time post holiday craze especially as owners of two businesses, the down time was due. Woolverton inn was exactly what we needed and then some. Firstly the absolutely stunning aesthetics of the property are just breathtaking the moment you pull onto it. You feel the calm, peace, friendliness, charm & coziness of it all. The manor house is quite literally a time capsule that is so beautifully maintained & cured to that historic standard, really just wow wow wow. Kris (apologies if i am misspelling her name) one of the innkeepers was so wonderful in checking us in with our dog nero into the garden cottage that took our breath away & totally exceeded all expectations. Not to mention a puppy basket for our boy which was well received with a wagging tail at the bowls & treats; so so sweet! The cottage was something out of a storybook and gave us such a perfect winter cozy feel where we really got to enjoy the town of new Hope right over the bridge & all its wonderful places to explore. Speaking of explore the trail to go enjoy the walks throughout the day and waive to the darling sheep on property was just really such a cherry on top. Now the restaurant, bravo to the chef and staff; absolutely delicious I will be dreaming of that potato soup & duck waffle, and the pot pie & prime rib were chefs kiss, no pun intended. At checkout I had the pleasure of saying goodbye to Kris, meeting one of the owners mario & had a lovely conversation with Mary the other owner on our second day when she made sure we got to enjoy a fantastic breakfast. Woolverton inn; you are every bit of perfection, tip top hospitality, and catering to needs of your guests and their furry companions.
