Prices have gone through the roof. They are now more expensive than the high-end liquor stores that actually invest money into the look of their place unlike this place. Go to gourmet or White Horse liquors if you can

On Saturday May 13, 2023(yesterday), I came in to Smitty's Wine &Spirits, New York Rd., Smithville NJ., As I approached the counter, I noticed the two clerks behind the counter eating their lunch, as I was standing there waiting to pay for my purchase the young guy shoulder length black hair, goatee said to his fellow employee, quote"I'll take care of this asshole",..this guy is a cancer and needs to be fired..save your money,drive the extra mile and support the merchants who appreciate your business

The store is a bit dingy looking. Wine selection is so-so. Prices are way too high now and don't match the atmosphere. Cashiers do their job but not beyond as far as repartee with the customer. Good for a quick in and out for last minute dinner wine pick up. That's about it.

This place is WAY over priced... 12 pack of Sam Adams = $18.99, 12 pack of Landshark=$16.99, these are at least $2-3 above average cost. It's not like it's located in NYC or Philadelphia. Wouldn't be surprised if this place closes down shortly, people aren't going to pay these prices. Look elsewhere
