“The Carriage House was the perfect wedding venue. From the day we toured until the last minute of our reception, the whole team was incredibly professional, kind, and timely. Emma, Kristen, and Nicole, put so much care into coordinating the logistics and details for our day. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and patient as we navigated the wedding planning process. The staff listened to our vision and ideas and made them come to life. The amazing customer service started even before the wedding day, at our rehearsal dinner, with food from Gourmet which was excellent! From start to finish, the Carriage House team has been a huge support! It means the world to us knowing how much time and effort was put into making the day incredible. Overall, everything was fabulous and everyone had the best time. The food, drinks, and cake were amazing, decor looked awesome, it was such a magical day!

We also wanted to give a special shoutout to the super star bridal attendant, Ashley. Ashley is absolutely amazing, and she did an incredible job in making sure our day went smoothly. Ashley went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and taken care of, all day long. She checked in on us and always found ways to make it easier for us to enjoy the day as much as possible. It was super impressive to witness. We received so much positive feedback from our families and bridal/groom parties regarding Ashley’s excellent service and support throughout the day.”

“Cynthia the receptionist has outstanding customer service. The gentleman at the Pro Shop the same. This Country Club makes Linwood Country Club and Seaview County Club look like cheap boardwalk Peanut Miniature Putt Putt Ranges.

The food and drinks, outstanding along with their staff. Great for bridal showers, weddings and corporate team building venues. Don't go anywhere else. Atlantic City Country Club would make God/dess Her and Him, blush with envy!”

“The seating area was spacious and comfortable. The Hall itself was not easy to find inside the resort and the entrance flow was very confusing as to which line for entrance and ease of finding my seat.”

“If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to sleep inside a time capsule from the late 90s to early 2000s, the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center has you covered. The front desk staff could not have been nicer, and the maintenance team was genuinely friendly, doing their best to keep everything tidy. But the carpet, the walls, the bathroom fixtures, the lighting… all of it whispers “TRL era Atlantic City” in a way that is both nostalgic and slightly confusing. It’s like the hotel paused itself at the exact moment Destiny’s Child broke up and never hit resume.

Let’s talk about the carpet. Why any hotel in a city known for partying would choose wall-to-wall carpet is one of life’s great mysteries. Carpet in a casino town feels like a trust exercise that no one asked for. I respect the bravery, but I do not understand it.

Now, location is unbeatable. If you are here for the convention center, you simply cannot get closer unless you pitch a tent inside the lobby. The connected tunnel is a life saver on cold days too. Though I will say, calling it “indoors” is generous. Somehow that tunnel is always two degrees warmer than the sidewalk and three degrees colder than your spirit when you realize you forgot your badge in the room. I don’t understand how you can be inside and still need a winter coat, but here we are. It is basically Atlantic City’s version of a wake up call: a brisk, involuntary power walk through refrigerated air.

Is it a little grimy? Sure, but so is everything old school AC. That’s part of the charm. The hotel delivers exactly what you need, nothing you don’t, and everything works well enough to get you through your stay without issues. The staff is kind, the beds are fine, and the proximity cannot be beat. Just embrace the throwback vibes and know you’re experiencing a small piece of Atlantic City history, preserved in polyester carpet and fluorescent lighting.

Would I stay again? Absolutely. But next time, I’m packing slippers and a hoodie for that tunnel journey.”
