I guess this place is okay if you speak Polish. Nobody in there could speak English and tell me anything about the different types of food. Since I was not going to buy something I didn’t know anything about, I had leave without buying anything.

I can guarantee you will not be disappointed when you go here. The meats are outstanding, the portions are ridiculous and the owner and his team are the best.

Stopped in on a rainy Saturday at around 2 and the place was pretty poppin. This was my first experience at a Polish grocery store, so I didn’t really know what to expect. They have everything here - produce, fresh kielbasa, household items, skincare, pastries, and hot foods just to name a few. The pastries are just kind of on a shelf out in the open, which didn’t seem too sanitary (or the buffet for that matter) because the store is VERY tight and the aisles are narrow, so I could see it being easy to knock a hand into it, not to mention the conversations happening next to the cramped buffet station. We ended up ordering hot food from behind the counter since none of the buffet items appealed to us anyway. Nothing was labeled so you have to either know what you want, or guess what the food items are. Or if you want to roll the dice and just point, that works too. It seemed there was only one person behind the counter who spoke English but she was busy helping other customers. We ended up getting the stuffed cabbage. You can order the food by weight, or a dinner portion ($9) where you get an entree, potatoes (choose from 3 different styles) and a salad. We did the roasted potatoes and beet salad and both were great, especially the beet salad. The stuff cabbage was just okay. I thought stuffed cabbage was supposed to be mostly meat, but this one was mostly rice with a few specks of meat. We dug into some of it in the parking lot and it was already cold. I wouldn’t order this again.Maybe we just didn’t order the right thing. I do wish they had cooked kielbasa behind the hot food counter because I would have loved to try those. There’s also a packaged cold food section (i.e. various salads, stews, and pierogies) you can bring home and heat up. I ended up getting a quart of half sour pickles to take home.I wouldn’t mind giving this spot another try - possibly some of the kielbasa to throw on the grill at home. I don’t know of many Polish grocery stores around, especially with such a variety, so I can see why it’s so popular.

Looks like the store hired people without skills. The young man working there on Friday March 1st at evening shift have no idea how to treat customers. Please teach him!! It looks like your young employee has watched too much of how ladies with Polish experience from PSS Społem serve and doesn't know how to speak to the customer properly. Please teach him.

I normally never complain but this past Monday 1/22/24 around noon. I went to get dinner although the mashed potatoes and side salads were delicious. The cutlet chicken however was very rubbery and looked slight grey and barely could cut it. I had came back inside told the lady at cashier. She they got an another employee. Went to the go food area and they brought the chef out. And to say it's cooked. Attempted to cut and clearly was rubber. And I brought the meal back 10 mins after leaving the store. I started to eat in the parking lot. And they looked at me like I was crazy. They did not offer me another piece or meat or another meal. Left the place and left the meal on counter. Never coming back. And really liked most of their items not cooked there. Def going to Piast next time where the actually have good customer service and people at the counter with smiles on there face.

This place is excellent for Polish meat and prepared foods, as well as other Polish products. In my opinion the Polish hot dog (PARÓWKI) is a little better down the road at the Piast store, but the prepared hot food area is definitely better here I think. This store also has more hygiene and beauty products.

Decided to pop into this place since I recently moved to the area and am always interested in international markets and was very pleased with the wide selection of tinned fish they had. That for me was a big win since I'm sort of a tinned fish connoisseur. They also had a wide range Kefir and yogurts which was another major plus as well as healthy 100% juices for a reasonable price. I haven't gotten anything from the deli as of yet, but on my next trip I will. It is a little crammed and not knowing Polish may leave you thinking the staff is rude (after reading other reviews), but I don't usually have many questions as a grocery shopper or lose patience over language barriers.

Service at counter needs big time improvement basic skills of packing for instance don't put bread, doughnuts at bottom of the beg heavy stuff on the top like cans, bottles when ask why she replays it's ok all be fine .. also have to watch the register every time I'm here get charge twice for some small items what a damn f.... idiot please educate that creature some basic skills or give her a broom perhaps might be a good start ... The ladies in back are always smiling helpful will let you taste new products know how to sell. Can't wait to taste some of goodies until you get to the counter negative energy losing appetite right away ... hard to believe they are Polish women can't call them ladies they act more like bitches. Shame it's nice store but many of my friends don't want to shop there bc of service said that I won't be going back.
