Last week I made a large shabbos order from Gourmet One (the deli counter). The new chef is great! The food was fresh and delicious!! The brisket in mushroom sauce was outstanding! Was disappointed that I only took one container of the fruit mix/compote - we didn’t have enough! Everyone wanted doubles!

However, the meat portion and size of the sandwich I would go back but ask them not to put the seasoning. I don’t think it is terrible I just had that one experience and it was nice and clean inside. “My frequent go-to for tacos in Bloomfield. The carnitas are not shredded but instead tender chunks, with just the right density and a lovely crispy outside. Always very flavorful. Cilantro, onions, a little lemon - consistent, affordable, and very delish.I also recommend the birria tacos that they serve on occasion, but you may want to call ahead to confirm as I believe it's not a daily item.I'll update with pictures as soon as I have the patience to not inhale my food immediately. “Matko boska! The selection and prices here are very good. I will return to this establishment and Polish district overall. I would however check the expiration date on things to make sure they aren't already expired before you buy. I bought about 50 items and I only found 1 or 2 that were expired but a few that would be expiring within the next 60 days. The other problem here is the lady that works there is from the communist Poland era so don't expect any good customer service skills. She seems annoyed at having to work here and isn't willing to help much, probably didn't get any Biden bucks.”
