“Ok so I like this Five Below, despite the crowds on 5th Ave which can be extremely packed with tourist. They have a great beauty selection and you can find inexpensive nails that actually last! A fashion stylist I met in Central Park suggested I try their nails, I was sold!!!! Hands down in addition to the other beauty finds if you're on a budget ?.”

Haven't been there in a. while, So it may have changed. They used to have the candy from back in the day. I don't find it as much anymore.”

“So nondescript on the outside I didn't notice it for the 4 years I've lived in the neighborhood. Averaged sized store that is MUCH better than the two 99¢ stores further south on Amsterdam, which is really saying something. I found a medium-sized padded envelope and a pack of small safety pins. Pretty random, but since they still carried it, it shows that they do have a fairly comprehensive selection.”

“take an escalator on Sixth Avenue and you're in Five Below that sits above Chelsea. a colorful retail store filled with candy, toys, Ts, tchotchkes, and a random assortment of cheap decor items, toiletries, exercise stuff, and more...merchandise seems to rotate based on season and probably how inexpespensively it can be sourced or stocked. this store is clean, brightly lit, colorful, and mostly organized...tbh, you have to hunt around to see everything as there's so much merc shelved everywhere...retail chaos, but it's controlled. this is a great place when you want to buy rando for kiddos or just want to tour through childhood memories via candy as the sugary options are vast. there is so much lol-rando items like comically small jars of Nutella or dementedly happy looking plushy toys....the variety of things found here can eat up an hour or two. all that said, the shopping experience is fun and the staff are pretty friendly/helpful. if you're Chelsea during the day and have to kill some time...this is a good spot to do so.”
