This knucklehead for the key station didn't show up. Waited 15 minutes only to find out that they didn't supply the key that I needed. They used to be good here but the current service is quite disappointing!

This store is AMAZING! Not only are they donating all of the supplies for CAMP-A-PALOOZA! The New Jersey Special Needs Camp Fair but they are sending in 1,000 kits for our kids to do a craft. And 8 - 9 staffers to do the crafts with our special kiddos. John and his team are absolutely phenomenal!

Came in with a very small child's chair with detached back and a broken leg. Jim a guy in hardware showed me the right hard ware.I then went to paint dept to look at samples for the little chair, the ladies behind the counter were so nice and helpful. Then a nice gentleman named James, a father of many children who worked there came by to admire it . Then said humm, I think it needs more tightening and brought a hammer and screwdriver and started working on it, he put it all together but said well just to be sure put some wood putty on it at home to secure it. With all that help I only had to pay for nails, paint and wood putty. They are fabulous there.

Just walked out. Left whole order...your suppose manager ( a black man with a deep accent) couldn't figure out my order..why it said a certain..wrong price??!! Asked him to fix it..he wasn't sure how. Also shopping for kitchen renovation..one woman on her cell talking about Christmas gifts..other woman talking on her cell to a family member. Never acknowledged me looking at cabinets...

Worse experience ever. I only needed my propane tank exchanged and it took 20 minutes... Poor customer service and about 6 people walked by me before one who had already passed me twice ended up helping me. Ridiculous!!!

Have always had a good experience at this location. The employees are very helpful, particularly for a Home Depot. Paolo in the garden center always helps to load the top soil into my car. Plumbing and electrical departments help to find the exact parts I need. It's a small location so the don't have all the services, but they make up for it with the individual attention. The only reason I don't give five stars is that they are slightly more expensive than the Home Depot on route 22 for the same items. Odd considering that it's a chain...

Def the worst Home Depot I've been to. It's on my way home from work so I stop out of convenience and each and every time I do, I think the experience will be better, but it never is. Honestly, since there are always dozens of employees standing around, you would think at least ONE would be outside, managing their parking lot since it's full of carts everywhere. So if you think you can park in their newly paved lot, think again. This right here is a testament to the quality of this store. Please, management. Send one of your 25 employees outside to man the carts!! It's the easiest task and allows your customers the opportunity to be not aggravated prior to entering your store.

Disappointing experience all around. We went in tonight around 8:45 because the website said that the store closed at 10. Waited at the paint counter for 15 mins while my husband had a key made. No one came over to help me, or to let me know that they were closing soon and that I was wasting my time standing there. I rang the bell on the counter as the sign indicated I should do...nothing. Waited a little bit longer until I heard the announcement over the loudspeaker at 9:03 that the store was closed. Walked over to check out and had a hard time finding a cashier who wasn't standing with their back to me looking at their cellphone. Finally found someone to check us out who waved us over and then proceeded to take a call just as we put out stuff down and made no attempt to multitask. I get that people are tired at the end of their shift, but so am I and would appreciate a little courtesy and an accurate website. Get it together Home Depot.

This is a smaller store with almost no lumber. With that said, I've never been to a Home Depot with more customer assistance. Just walking around you will be approached by employees offering help. This is in contrast to Linden and Woodbridge where they consciously try to avoid eye contact. I will continue to go to Garwood. Keep up the good work!

Would be 3.5 stars... This location, as well as the parking lot, is smaller than the Watchung, Union, and Old Bridge locations. I actually remember this store used to be called "Villager's Hardware" for a couple of years, before changing it's name back to the Home Depot. I needed some new rubber gloves, and since I was in the area, I stopped here to get some. When I walked in, I was greeted by someone at the door and wanted to know if I was looking for something in particular. After that, she brought me into an area where they had them. I was pleased with this experience. The store itself looked nice and clean. As with any Home Depot, the prices are competitive. Very good experience overall!
