They also have a lot of classic novels which was my favorite part. The set up of the store is so quaint and charming it feels like a treasure chest you never know what you will discover! “Peter Schichtel refinished our dining room chairs which he delivered to us todayOur chairs are antique ( more than 50 but less than 100 years old). The chairs had blisters on the backs & loose wood around the seats. As you can imagine we were worried since they couldn’t be replaced & didn’t think that much could be doneToday we were amazed at the work that Peter did! He is a true craftsman!!! “What a find this place is! The Brass Shop has been in business for over 50 years and that was a good omen. We needed to have an old bell jar lamp rewired and cleaned up. It was done within a few days. Frank, the owner, was great to work with and very helpful in having us video how to reassemble our pendant. And, the price was a quarter of what a store in Summit was going to charge for the same work...with no attitude.”
