Not happy with this place, people aren’t helpful and can be subtle jerks in responses. Management needs to sell this business to someone who appreciates this kind of business, providing superior customer service and relocates it to a more friendly non blue state. Not to mention allow walk in customers. Military/guns don’t mesh well especially in this part of the country.

Amazing products and fast shipping! I bought myself a 2nd SS panzer division repro helmet. I am super impressed and happy with the quality and look. It arrived a lot faster than I had anticipated. Thank you so much!

Wow! I went up to look at an item on the website, cash in hand with intent to buy..well the doors are locked and was told on the phone they do not have a storefront!, I must purchase online, then I asked about more pictures as the most important part of my item was nit shown. Hence why I was there to look. I was told he could request pictures with management, but it did not sound promising as the guy really sounded like a Dope on the the phone! Goodbye IMA

General Guy Simonds Cap. One row of oak leaves on peak --not for a General Officer but for a Colonel or Brigadier. Major-General rank and above have two rows of oak leaves on their cap visor Should have General Officer Buttons on the peak strap, which this cap does not have. The General Officer Cap Badge is a repo.and has replaced the original Royal Crest for a Colonel or Brigadier. Anyone can write G.G. Simonds on the inside band. More research needed on items like this before they are offered for sale. General Simonds medals and personal items are in museums in Canada and held by family. I do not believe any of his items have ever been offered for sale. Then there is the beretthat Sean Connery wore in "A Bridge Too Far" ! there are some excellent color close-ups of Connery with a similar beret andan authentic General Officer Cap Badge, but not a sign of this particular (newly made cap badge-possible repo.) These berets are available for purchase from several sources.

Collectors heaven. World wide shipping on many items. This is one of the last shops to have big quantities of surplus historical arms.A little problem with my order (wrong item send) was quickly resolved by sending the right item. Very happy with them.

Be wary of selling to this company. We had agreed on price for a small item (under $300), and in email they stated they would look at it within 3-4 days of receipt, then mail check. Obviously that is an unreasonably wide window, but then I gave them a whole week, but required them to agree to a nominal fee of 1/2% per day if they failed to do so. I also asked them to acknowledge it remained my property until they paid good funds to me (that means they have money in account to cover the check they send me). They refused and cancelled the agreement. I'm not a lawyer but have legal experience so know that without a specific performance clause and specified penalty, I would be SOL if they wanted to screw me. Some intelligent person long ago came up with the phrase "put your money where your mouth is." When you are told what they will do, and you give them even more time, but they won't agree to a small penalty if don't, then you need to be concerned. Do they let you wait more than a week after receiving something before paying? Are they better than you are? Not agreeing to quickly pay for an item they have received can be a sign of a liquidity problem, i.e., lack of cash. BTW, they have an extremely low BBB rating. ADDED: After reading IMA's response, I will add explicitly what I believe was clearly implied in my orig opinion. Because they would not accept the terms I referenced, and they cancelled their offer, I did not send my item so I did not lose any money, only my time. Everything I stated is contained in emails so their claim it is false is crazy.

Long story short, I paid 1200.00 for a snider rifle, in the order in writing I explained that I am going to shoot it. First rifle showed up and the wood furniture was terrible, my gunsmith suggested that I return it, and ima was wonderful about it and sent me a beautiful example of a snider in it's place, while on the phone I explained to two separate people that my plan was to shoot it sense I had the tooling and brass already.I took the rifle to a gunsmith "as per ima's suggestion in the description of the firearm", my gunsmith said it looked mechanically sound but should be fired from a rest to be safe. When I shot it everything was great until I tried to extract the spent round, the chamber was way out of spec, and it was splitting the case's,.So I called IMA and said that I have to return it, they said because I had fired the rifle that it couldn't be returned, and that they do not suggest that their Firearms should be shot.I tried leaving a review on their website but they do not allow reviews under 4 stars, a bit shady. The rifle is beautiful for the type of collector who never shoots their Firearms, but for the rest of firearm enthusiasts this is just a 1200.00 cap gun, it's disappointing sense this is the third firearm I've purchased from them on a very limited income, at a premium price, the other two rifles were expensive but the quality is why I kept coming back. I would have even taken store credit towards my next purchase from IMA, but instead am being forced to eat a broken 1200.00 wallflower of a rifle:(.

So I've ordered three rifles over the year's from IMA, so I am a returning costumer. The last rifle was a clean and complete snider rifle, the first rifle showed up and it was in unusable condition "my gunsmith word's ", their costumer service was very good and they sent me another rifle, this rifle was a beautiful rifle on the outside, but after my gunsmith said that it was mechanically safe but should be fired from a stand first, I found out that the chamber was oversized and was unsafe. When I called, I was told that these rifles are not supposed to be fired, I explained that their own site suggests that if you attend to shoot it to have a gunsmith to check it out first. When I ordered the rifle I explained to them that I was going to be shooting the rifle in writing, and then twice on the phone when I called them about the first rifle. Like others have stated INTERNATIONAL MILITARY ANTIQUES sensors their reviews that are below 4 star's. I paid around 1200.00 for the rifle and their response is "because I fired it I can't return it, because if they sell it to someone else that tries to shoot it they could be held reliable if something went wrong ", I was thinking why would you try to sell a dangerous rifle

I love International Military Antiques! Their service is great and well managed. I am a huge fan of Pawn Stars and will continue buying from International Military Antiques for a while. I have added so much to my collecting and most of it is from International Military Antiques. Their inventory is so big and they always have what I am looking for. I 1000% recommend buying.
