Don’t do online ordering…just don’t. First time I tried it and will be the last. I ordered on Sat from the sales items and the next day I find out that they are no longer on sale and I’m charged the full price. The lady at customer service handled the things I noticed but when I went home, I saw some other stuff that I was overcharged for (like a substitute cheese for $3 more a pound). Maybe I’m not that savvy using the technology and maybe it’s an issue on ShopRite’s end for some of this but I thought I would call the 800 number to get some resolution. The woman didn’t help at all…her manager basically said it was my fault (and she would not let me speak with him/her). I tried to allay my concerns about not knowing my credit card wasn’t getting charged to the next day…because I was shown a total based on the prices I saw. Anyway, ShopRite has lost a long time customer because they would not be sympathetic to their online misinformation of only being able to shop the sales items for the current week. Otherwise, I liked the Glassboro store but I’ll go with the competition now.

I like how close to me they are and how early they are open. They have everything you could ever need in one place.

This Shoprite’s online order service is TERRIBLE. I have placed multiple online orders before and I have had to wait 30+ minutes every single time. I placed an order YESTERDAY for pick up at 5pm for the following day (today). After calling customer support and online orders 4 times, I was told that I have to wait for another 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It is 5:45pm right now and I am not pleased with this experience whatsoever and I have yet to receive my order. Being that I received an email yesterday confirming that my order was complete and the employee that I talked to told me that my order was still INCOMPLETE, infuriates me. Moral of the story, do not online shop at this Shoprite. They are entirely unprofessional and should get new employees.

Check your receipts when shopping at this location. There is almost always an overcharge and digital coupons not registering at checkout. You then have to go back to the store bc no one at the "customer" desk knows how to do anything.

Was WRONGLY and rudely accused of shoplifting due to a poorly placed camera…do better ShopRite and get someone who has brain cells to fix your security…very disappointed, you ruined my day*UPDATE* after being told by one member of ShopRite cost customer service that it is against policy to accuse a shopper of shoplifting without 100% certainty that product was placed in pockets. However, when the store manager called and I explained to him my experience he un empathetic, and was covering for the security guards mistake. He also claimed that the security guard couldn’t see the product I picked up off the shelf anymore however I saw the footage myself I’m not stupid, you can CLEARLY see in my hand, but what you couldn’t see was my wallet being placed in my pocket due to the camera being blocked by a top of the isle. The way the security guard approached me as I was leaving he never clarified he was an employee of ShopRite he simply said “I need to speak with you” and as a young female girl at night I felt unsafe, and when voicing this concern with the manager he simply lied and sided with the security guard. ShopRite does not have your best interests in mind they simply do not care about making their customers feel comfortable. Get your cameras moved to more visible locations and follow the store policy when accusing customers of shoplifting.

There were many people thrown out of the store after we were in loading our carts with food. The website said 6am holiday hours but that wasn't the case.... many people were upset. The lady that threw us out was very rude. Strike 2 shoprite glassboro

At work, we bought cakes here for every members birthday. We got the same thing every time and they were great. Last year they started going down hill with their decorations and overall cake. A few months ago, we ordered a cake and when we went to pick it up, it had been given to someone else. 45 minutes later, we got a new cake; however, it was gross and partly frozen. We were not offered to discount or anything for the inconvenience. The other day, I was there again and I was scanning my items, and a man came up to me, took my lunch out of the cart, after I scanned it, put it back up to rescan and then changed something on the screen. Turns out I didn't have the container fully centered on the scale. None of which he explained but mumbled. He then proceeded to stare at me and made me feel very uncomfortable while I rang up the rest of my items. I was frazzled and as I go to leave he grabs my cart and asks if i paid for the birthday candles in my cart. I said I didn't know. He took my reciept and started doing something on the screen again. At this point I explained that I was on my lunch break and felt like a complete idiot so told him I would skip them. I left and he kept my reciept. The second issue on this day was the food i bought for lunch at the wockery was completely inedible. It was dry, hard and just gross. I called and left a message for the managers on both occasions and never got a call back.

The store is much nicer, cleaner, and more organized now and the employees are overall friendly and helpful. The only area that could definitely use some work is the deli station. They have messed up so many orders of mine and others around me whenever I go there. They’re also pretty rude and only one guy working there was nice.

Last week we bought some Honey Crisp apples: we love these usually. However, all of the apples were dry and not "crisp". The apples had obviously been either stored or frozen. They were terrible. I recommend that the produce manager be asked to do a better job!

Old woman working in customer service snarky and rude. People in self checkout act like you’re robbing…. Rather go waste extra money on gas and go to another ShopRite. Not worth it
