Very apathetic towards family members. Nurses won’t share information with you. Took my husband to the ER in serious condition. I was told he was being admitted at 8pm. We were just told that nodules on his liver were suspicious for cancer. Shortly after that , transport came to take him upstairs. They refused to let me walk him to his room so I could put his stuff away and settle him in. I got upset and security came to escort me out. I am not well myself and I get around with a walker. This is one of many ways they have shown they were very disobliging.

After many attempts to find a doctor without getting gouged by unnecessary referrals and procedures, this medical practice seems to find a balance. A PCP should be able to handle simple client discomforts without sending their patients to a slew of specialists. I have found the doctors in my area are more concerned about creating more revenue for their practices than patient needs.

The nursing staff was amazing. The doctors were not as I expected. I had full POA and PO of medical but was denied some of my wishes. The Social Services staff was like dealing with the Devil. How this hospital could allow such treatment of a patient and family is beyond anything I have ever experienced. They threatened me and the patient if I did not do what they wanted they would take control of the patient. He was no longer receiving food or water and on morphine and I was told he has to get out of the hospital ASAP to die elsewhere. I fought for his rights. He passed 2 days later. That night I received a call at home telling me he must be removed by tomorrow. The two women in that department should never be allowed to deal with anyone again. They should be fired. I still have nightmares when I think about I was treated trying to bring dignity to my brother and how they tried to kick him out of the hospital while he was dying. They also denied placing him in Hospice. He passed away in his room while I was there.

I came in, in pain!!! And from the beginning to the end everyone who attended me has been AMAZING!!!! I cannot thank you all enough. I pray God continues to bless you all because you are truly very nice and calming. Specially so late at night, thank you. Thank you, I feel so much better, God only knows how much relief you have given me. Thank you. ??

My experience with Mountainside Medical Center was as excellent as ever before and when I said that is because in the past I had some bad things that have happened to me and some family members with some of the Drs. With the attitude and rudeness. I wanted to share that this time was excellent service staff nurses and Drs.I would to thank you for doing well and taking care of patients who are coming in sick for healthcare.

The check in receptionist was very helpful and polite. The staff in the x-ray department was fantastic! In addition to my great service inside the hospital I forgot to mention the valet service was outstanding!!! It helped me so much.

My experience on 3/12/24 was great. From the beginning, during, and after my surgery the staff was no less than professional, friendly and compassionate. I felt very comfortable and safe.

My experienced with Mountainside Medical Center has always been a pleasant one. The staff is professional and courteous from Security to Registration to the Radiology Department. I felt at ease knowing that much care was taken during my visit.
