“We discovered Lore's delicious chocolates on our way to the Independence Library. Their shop is a block from the library and they were doing a free chocolate sampling. Their chocolates were the best we'd ever tasted! We bought both their butter creams and truffle assortments. We learned that Lore's is a family-owned business that's been in this location for over 50 years. They create these artisan chocolates onsite in a historic building and district. Their prices are very reasonable for the freshness and quality of the chocolates.”

“First time at a candy store that isn’t centered around chocolate and licorice ! We were greeted by a kind sir that explained the sour scale of the candies snd recommend us some flavors, there was a variety of flavors to pick from and the store itself was aesthetically pleasing despite its size :)
When checking out the cashier was very sweet and she helped us pick out a postcard to take back home !
Overall i am impressed with this fun and unique store and would love to come back if I’m ever in town”

a small outdoor seating area at street curb side. Past era memorabalia in the form of candy. Not everyone knows this but they also have ice cream and gelato. Worth the parking aggravation. Many shops
shops directly in the Collingwood / Haddon Ave. might be closed on Monday but I am not sure of this. A delicious delightful addition to the numerous shops and eateries directly on the Haddon Avenue Collingswood area.”

“Nuts To You is the best. I moved from Philadelphia to St. Louis (long story) and when I got here, there was no salt free everything bagel seasoning anywhere (except dash in the grocery store🤢) and the one offered on Amazon is always out of stock. Not at Nuts to you! Yes I have to pay shipping, but I will continue to order from them for a long time. It’s worth it. And they ship out so quickly! Just wanted to let people to know they’re wonderful.”
“What a great place for chocolates and other delicious goodies! I stopped in for non pareils for my husband. He loves them! This was my 4th trip; I always seemed to miss them when they weren't open. Finally, success! I was so happy!!! They even had an assortment of sugar free candy for me!!!! That's an even bigger success! They have more than just chocolates too! They have a wide variety of molds too. They have some very rare decorations too! A few years ago I purchased all they had of a sign that depicted the famous saying, "no one gets in to see the Wizard!" I think I bought 4 or 5 of them! I absolutely loved it! I gave one to each of my sisters and brother. They have old fashioned candy too! And, the owners are so nice! I believe the niece took over the business and she was so nice! She took care of me! I can't believe they even had sugar free non pareils! They're good too! She said she's working on a sugar free hard candy too. I definitely will purchase that! If you need a great candy store, this is the place to go!!! You won't be disappointed!!!! Enjoy!!!!”
“The address for this business, 1500 Market Street, is a bit misleading. I believe the only entrance (the one I used) is on 16th Street just south of Market Street. My first visit to this location, which seemed consistent with the other locations in terms of available products. As usual with this local chain of stores, they are a great resource, especially when it comes to the holiday baking. If you're outfitting your gingerbread house, this is the equivalent of Lowes or Home Depot. Competitive pricing on their dates and walnuts. Although I do wish they carried organic products as well. I found when getting home that one item I had bagged up was apparently left behind on the counter. Calling the store, I was assured that whether or not I had actually paid for it, the item would be held for me to pick up later. Note that they have a frequent shopper program, so I was able to take several dollars off my bill with the credit that had accumulated, and which I didn't even know about. Nice!”

“We stopped in while walking around Rittenhouse. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with the sweet smell of candy. Reminded me of the beach. Loved the colorful displays.
We walked into the store and the girl at the counter was chatting with (who we assumed was the owner) woman on her laptop across the store at the windows. They seemed really focused on their numbers, we were browsing the shelves and were going to potentially buy but did not want to intrude their convo.

“Absolutely delicious! You can tell they use authentic chocolate in everything. The hot chocolate is rich and deeply chocolaty (and very hot, but worth the wait!), and the bonbons are unique and flavorful. Can’t wait to return!”
“First went when the store first opened a few months ago and was shocked how full the shelves were considering how empty other stores shelves are and the gentleman that owns the shop is extremely nice, helpful, and gets a lot of candy and snacks that I haven't seen in years! The items are reasonably priced with more items being put on shelves often.”
“Their nut mixes are great! Wide selection of bulk candy and nuts. Plus spices, honey, popcorn. One of my favorite shops!
They no longer pop their popcorn in the store, which is a shame. I wish they still did, but the popcorn is still fairly good anyhow.”

“Just discovered this place recently as I get off at suburban to get to work every day, and it is an amazing find. You can get a bag of sweets for the same price as a chocolate bar, if not cheaper. Love their dark chocolate selection.”
“Awesome place. Spacious room, friendly,attentive servers (Mindy was fabulous) and delicious food. Lots of variety on the menu plus appetizer,pasta,meat and seafood specials. We went with the shrimp mango salsa,grilled cheese,fried gnocchi and the arugula watermelon salad for appetizers/ the salmon special with shrimp and veggies and then the pork loin special- both in the most flavorful sauces and their homemade pappardelle bolognese. Dessert was delicious tiramisu and cappuccino. BYOB or can order local wine. Highly recommend !”

“Went in today and it was so nostalgic of old time candy stores. The chocolate is absolutely delicious!! We got a bunch of different kinds. The man working there (I think was the owner) he was super friendly and very helpful. It isn't cheap store candy it is top quality that you will pay more for but it is so worth it! We will be back!!”
