“Our 2006 Toyota Tacoma's frame was in dangerously bad condition. My research came up with using Safe-T-Caps as a potential solution. I found only two shops equipped and willing do this repair within an hour of me. Outlawed Specialties is 40 minutes farther away than the other shop, and the estimate from O.S. was also about 20% higher than the latter's. Why did I go with Outlawed?
First, Outlawed Specialties and the owner, Joe, were highly recommended to me in a Toyota Tacoma online forum. More importantly, everything Joe did gave me confidence in him (more than the other shop). Joe explained in great detail what he thought needed to be done and how he would do it, from which suppliers he would obtain parts, or, if necessary, fashion parts by CNC himself. He observed details like the need to re-route the AC line so it would not continue to drip on the frame after the repair. Unlike the other shop, Joe printed a complete and detailed estimate of the repair and the subsequent New Hampshire Oil undercoating treatment. He assured us that he would keep us updated with photos as he did the repair and would immediately let us know if he discovered anything that was missed in the original estimate.
Joe (who is very personable, by the way) did exactly what he said; he was responsive to calls, he kept us updated. After completing the repair, he gave us sound advice regarding maintaining the undercoating going forward. We have the Tacoma back now with a new lease on life! I am so glad we paid a few hundred more - we got all we paid for!!

Ms. Judy even though she was training 2 new Associates checked out my tire, got it on a lift, diagnosed the problem, talked to me, fixed the issue & had me on my way in less then an hour. That’s the way to do Biz. W/ a small town Co. & a SMILE. Thanks again, Judy & her staff saved my Saturday. She’s a true old world professional.✌️”

“Ran over a piece of metal and scrambled to find the closest tire shop as the TPS light came on quickly. Oxford A-1 Tire was 10 minutes away. Limped into the parking lot and spoke with the owner. He rolled a jack out, pulled the rim and tire off and there was no saving it as the gash was 1” across. He had a new tire installed, balanced and put back on the car. I wasn’t there 30 minutes and $200 later (very reasonable) was back on the road. Very honest, efficient, old-school shop that I would strongly recommend. When I need new skins all around, I’ll be returning to Oxford A-1!”

Shawn is superrrr cute and he wears these little tight jeans that hi lites his package and he’s packing!!!!! There’s some lady working in the office and she’s good looking too!! (I don’t roll that way but if I did it would be over) I seen 2 of the mechanics and one had this slicked back hair looking all fine like he’s in the godfather ready to call a hit on some dealers that are in his turf and the other one is this handsome old man! “What a great experience despite the stress after a deer accident. Todd showed up in minutes to tow it from the accident scene. It took a few weeks to fix the damage, but Stews was great about dealing with the insurance company and answering any questions we had. (Never had an accident before). My van looked amazing when we got it back. And on top of that, when our blinker went on the driver's side after we had it for barely a week, they came and picked it up from my house, fixed it and brought it back completely free of charge!!!! We definitely recommend Stews for their reliability, customer service and going above and beyond. ❤️”
