Small family owned fishing and hunting store. Great for locals who don't want to shop at any local large retail stores like Walmart.Pequest Sporting Goods has live bait for us anglers. Their gun and rifle selection is limited, but at least they have something to offer the hunters. What I like most about this store is it's family owned. Store employee and part of the family is a young man by the name of "Anthony" aka Antonio and his mother and co-owner Reese.Both Antonio and Reese were receptive to my questions, and Anthony was respectful to me . I don't know if my "Navy Veteran" hat had anything to do with how I was treated, but I'm thankful anyway.The store is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays which I find strange but who cares. This was my first time visiting the Pequest Sporting Goods store; but it won't be my last. - Dr. Nick C. Cicchino

My son got a compound bow for his birthday, and the locking pin broke, and they fixed it for him even tho they don't do bows.I will be buying from this place from now on for all my outdoor needs.

Brought my 6yo daughter in to buy a fishing rod, the woman behind the counter seemed annoyed by our existence, when we went to pay for the fishing rod she actually ignored us to our face and asked another customer (who had just arrived) how she could help them. If you like distracted middle-aged narcissist women, this is the place for you. My daughter even said “I was going to tell her she was pretty but she didn’t even give me the chance. She never even looked up at me!” Won’t be going back here.
