We had an extremely disappointing experience at this Ashley store. The store manager greeted us by asking what we were looking for, and when we replied that we were just browsing, he kept following us around and repeating that he didn’t understand why we were in a furniture store without a specific piece in mind. It felt like he was almost trying to make us leave, as if we shouldn’t even be there. His tone and attitude came across as extremely rude and unwelcoming.
We actually have a couple of rooms with a lot of space to furnish, but since we weren’t sure what we wanted, we came in hoping to look around and get inspiration. Instead, the manager’s attitude made us feel unwelcome, and we left immediately.
We’ve purchased from Ashley many times before at various locations and have spent thousands of dollars here. Loyal customers should not be treated this way. Thanks to this manager, Ashley has lost us as customers. We went to another furniture store right after—where the staff was friendly, welcoming, and patient—and ended up purchasing a beautiful set of furniture there. That positive experience made it clear where we’ll be shopping for furniture in the future—and it won’t be Ashley.

I had the pleasure of having Tasha help me in my search for a couch. I told her what I was looking for and she was able to show me models that interested me. I was in a hurry so she was very efficient. When I found a couch, she was able to quote it on the spot. I appreciated that she also sent it in a txt. She gave me time to think about it and then followed up. A great quality in a sales rep. I was impressed with Ashley's customer service.

I had a phenomenal experience working with Tasha at this store - from the initial phone call all the way through. She worked diligently with me cycling through different options until I landed on the items that are the right fit for me - as far as budget as well as aesthetics. She answered my many questions with professionalism. Thank you so much again for your kindness and excellent customer care from start to finish.
Definitely five star experience + as usual Ashley Furniture delivers great quality for reasonable prices. Way to go Tasha..

Overall the experience at this Ashley store was spectacular. The sales associate, Adel, was phenomenal. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was with us from the second we walked into the store until we left and helped us find the perfect furniture to fit our needs. I would recommend anyone that needs furniture to go to this store and ask for Adel.

Great people, great service, great help. This was my first time at an Ashley's and they made me feel at home. Tom and Micheal were upfront and honest giving me the lowest price for good quality. They serviced us quickly and went above and beyond with everything. I would give 100/5 stars if I could.

Our experience here went well. We reviewed all the furniture around the store, learned details regarding the materials, and filled in. When we decided on a few options, with the assistance of the salespeople, we made the collective decision on our top furniture. Polite and very helpful.

Terrible Experience at Ashley Green Brook
I am very disappointed with the customer service I received at this location. Despite repeatedly informing the team that our move-in date was July 18 and that we needed delivery on August 10, I kept receiving calls and messages stating the delivery would happen on July 10. When I called the store to clarify, the representative was rude and insisted the incorrect delivery date was “not her problem,” blaming it on the store manager without offering any resolution.
This entire experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, and it made me feel like my concerns were not valued at all. Due to the poor service and lack of accountability, I ended up canceling my order and made a purchase elsewhere, where I received excellent customer service.
I hope Ashley Green Brook takes customer concerns seriously and improves its communication and service in the future.

came to Dunellen Ashley store on route 22. sales man Adel was very courteous, he helped us decide between several bedroom sets for our son and was very respectful of our needs and made this a smooth sale.
