Our district's 18-21 Transition Program opened last year amidst COVID, so it was very difficult to develop opportunities in the community for my students. We were very excited to connect with Greens Do Good, and our year changed as student internships began. The experience at the farm is unique. Students are passionate, and very proud when working alongside GDG staff to contribute to the success of the farm.We are very grateful for our partnership with GDG. In addition to the internships, they employ students, and bring people together for projects that will improve the lives of individuals with special needs. They continue to be an amazing resource for our students and their families.Thank you for all that you do!Michael - Transition Coordinator at STEPSS Program

Greens Do Good is a truly innovative venture providing both tasty hydroponic greens and meaningful employment for adults on the autism spectrum. A great example of what people, no matter what their "label" can do when given a chance. Oh, and did I mention how flavorful the greens are?

GDG is awesome! I love the microgreens and knowing that I’m getting delicious produce locally while supporting those with autism.

Can you imagine Dr. Temple Grandin spending her life putting seeds into seed pods instead of her breakthrough work in the field of animal science? This "sheltered workshop" approach to autism is insulting and harmful. These so called autism experts are inhibiting the self challenging mechanism necessary for those on the spectrum to succeed in our society.
