saw a lady shopping with her dog in the cart. I’m a huge animal lover but dogs do not belong in a grocery cart. Thats disgusting and I’m surprised the workers here allowed that so I won’t be returning

I use to go there every day before I moved out of NJ.. They sell expired human and pet food. I been working for retail for 19 years so where it say BB on the back of the item. It means best by then the date is next to it. I saw a whole section of catfood expired in 2023. Once I proved it someone went through outdates in the whole section. The tall guy in the front that stands there and gets paid for free. I would tell him it’s expired and he would say no it’s still good. People like that just care about the money.. If you including your pet don’t want to get food poison. When ever I went there it had a smell of mold in a basement. Don’t go there anymore ! Trust me !!!

I hope the manager sees this because I’m going to be reporting them to the authorities for theft. Whenever you guys go by the meat section, whatever you order will always be 1/4 lb short because they rigged their scales. I know because I bought a pound of meat then tried to portion it out into 4 servings and only got 3. (If you don’t believe me just weigh the meat yourself at home)
Imagine how much money they’re able to steal per day stealing an extra quarter pound off of everybody’s orders. I’ll go there again in a few days and if they don’t fix their scale they’re gonna be in big trouble.

I usually come to this grocery store for my grocery needs but the Spanish restaurant/Bakery is my favorite. I love the different types of food they have. Always freshly made and customer service is friendly.

**BEWARE** … they sell expired products in hopes you don’t notice!! I went to return products that were expired, with my receipts!!! And they did not want to take them back. They said those products were not sold by them, that I got them somewhere else! I told them to go look at their cameras from 2 days ago and they would see it was from this store. Unbelievable… After arguing with 3 people, they gave me the exchange. I truly cannot believe they acted that way over $5. I will never be back. Please check expiration dates. Don’t throw out your money.
