UNPROFESSIONAL! For there with my reservation only to wait for the longest time while the front desk women yapped incessantly with another customer. I had a scheduled reserved time. When she gets to me she says that it’s the manager special and it’s a Tesla! No where on my reservation it said for this type of vehicle. I wanted a regular gas powered vehicle. With an attitude she said that’s all she had. So why advertise a different car on the reservation??!!!!
No where it specified anything about a TESLA. No one’s purchasing or merely driving those cars. (Not a Musk fan) also where I am driving to there are no battery chargers for those vehicles. Ridiculous and time wasting and not customer friendly. I would stay clear from here.

Worst customer service ever. You book an online reservation and is not honored, also whatever discount you read online on hertz’s website is a lie they do bot get honored as well.

The Manager and Assistant Manager at this location demonstrate exceptional professionalism. They are not only hardworking but also polite and courteous. The car I rented was extremely clean, far surpassing the standards I’ve seen at other rental locations.
What impressed me most was their kindness. I witnessed a mother with a baby returning her car, and the staff not only accommodated her but also assisted her in getting into another vehicle with a car seat when her ride arrived after hours.
My rental experience was outstanding, and I truly appreciated the human touch. I would gladly return to this location for future rentals.

Horrible service makes no sense to reserve a car through uber when you can’t even secure a vehicle. Every time i reserve a vehicle I call in to check if it’s secure so I can come pick it up and always same excuses saying they don’t have any vehicles for uber waste of time

Made a reservation for a car that didn’t exist. Spent over $80 on Ubers getting to the location only to be met with no car and no solution. I am a customer service professional. It’s bad customer etiquette to overbook cars and not maintain a live inventory. People will show up and be turned away at their own expense. We have A.I. we have the internet. No reason why this is so un cohesive in 2025. It’s dangerous to lead people way out to the boonies with the expectation that they will be able to drive themselves home and effectively stranding them there on the side of the street. HERTZ SHOULD NOT LET UBER OR ANY PARTNERSHIPS RESERVE CARS THAT DONT EXIST. Lastly, it’s pretty jacked up to have employees working for Hertz dealing with customers who are highly upset and inconvenienced unnecessarily because of poor customer service framework. It’s not the customer or the front desk person’s fault however they will have to deal with the fallout from each of these instances due to poorly orchestrated partnerships. I imagine their turnover rate must be very high. I left there feeling like I was not treated like a person and there was nothing anybody could do about it. If I could give less than one star, I would. Judging from the look on the front desk person‘s face I can tell that this happens often and there was a bit of a look of apprehensiveness. I’m sure people have meltdowns in that office. I feel really badly for the people that work there that have to deal with that. This review is for “Uber vehicle solutions” as well. Poorly orchestrated. I was informed that Hertz is not in control of the bookings that “Uber vehicle solutions” makes with the company. This leaves not just a gap, but a huge fissure in customer service that I unfortunately fell into. Call ahead To make sure your vehicle actually exists, If you’re lucky, someone will answer the phone and give you a one word answer. Good luck 👍🏽 You’re gonna need it.

My worst rent-a-car experience.
The ladies working there are totally unprofessional.
One of them is almost always showing her bad attitude to the customers (giving much better service to the Spanish speaking customers).
The car I rented was in terrible condition.
First of all it was not cleaned out of the snow, which is prohibited by the NJ state law.
After several days of rented I had to change the bulb in the headlight. And the PEP Boys made inspection of the car. I will attach the report that you can see the car’s condition. More than a week have passed but nothing was done to the car.
I highly NOT recommend this location.
UPD .Don’t even try to reach them by phone. It is just impossible. Even if they will pick up the phone - they will put you on hold with no time limit.

A) The first car (Chevy Malibu) I rented had bugs in it. Clean these cars, properly. There was garbage and food stucco in the sides of the seats. Old paperwork stuffed into the glove and center console. And used makeup in the back seat!
B) the desk worker, Cayla, who issued my rental at 230 pm (late) asked me what time i will return it. I said “by 3 pm tomorrow”. She charge me an extra 25 dollars on a 37 dollar a day rental “to keep it an extra hour”. Completely unnecessary given the 30 min grace period. I want my 25 dollars back.
C) I was told I would get a ride by your staff (Cayla) when i returned the rental, but was met with a host of excuses why she couldn’t drive me to the auto body shop, nor could she put me in a LFYT because “the managers are in a meeting, and they have the code”. And she stated that “service dogs” are not welcome in LYFTS as “part of Hertz’ policy”.
Well this is COMPLETE discrimination. False representation. And downright unacceptable behavior by Hertz and its employees.
I want the 25 dollars back and the cost of having to secure my own ride to the auto body REFUNDED.
Also the Hertz management and staff should get really comfortable with the rules around discrimination as this is grounds for termination in most organizations.
