My co-worker and I came and ordered 4 alcapurias and they were still uncooked. My co-worker called the restaurant and let the man know the food was not cooked all the way, stated that he even realized the woman in the kitchen cooked it very quickly. Therefore he should've told the woman that the food did not cook for long enough. Never again!! Don't waste your money here... They were over priced and I'm not coming here anymore!

I ordered pollo guisado on February 21 and received this. I took one bit of the chicken and noticed that it was very chewy, this was before I realized that the chicken was very pink. I decided to call the restaurant and the woman I spoke to was very discourteous. I told her that the chicken was raw/undercooked and she proceeded to tell me that she was looking at the pollo guisado at the restaurant and that it was not undercooked at all. (i called about 20 minutes after I received my food) She then proceeded to tell me that I was the first person in 14 years to tell her that the chicken was undercooked. All of the pieces of chicken that I had were very pink and I was very disappointed in the customer service.

Very disappointed with my mofongo. It was dark color like if the plantain were fried in old oil. The pernil was minimal and no chicharron taste at all. I had to go myself to the counter (minimal staff )and ask for an order of pernil. We paid with credit card and we did not realized that the waitress gave herself a 25% tip automatically without asking. Very dishonest conduct.

Really good food! Recommend their camarones en salsa de ajo. their pork was super tender also.Vegetarian options: Only side dishes (tostones, maduros, arroz, etc. ) are vegetarian.

Wanted to try this place for a while. Didn't know what to expect really. Looked like they did a lot of take out. Seen the reviews and being Puerto Rican love to get authentic Puerto Rican cuisine that I don't have to cook for a change. The restaurant was a cute little place. And the food looked and smelled delicious. Wasn't sure if we had to order what was already prepared but our server let us know we could order anything off the menu. I had the arroz con gandules (which I am picky about rice) and pernil with a shrimp salad and my husband rice and beans with beef stew. Although the salad wasn't quite like I expected the shrimps were DELICIOUS! All the food was great. Honestly having a hospitality background a few things I could nit pick but all and all great food and service in a cute little place would definitely recommend and go back for sure. Only wish they were open a little later.

Went in for lunch and ordered arros con condules, beef stew. Two alcapurrias. Soda. Paid 25 bucks. Ridiculously overpriced for food that tasted awful. The beef stew was drowned in salt and the alcapurrias were burnt on the outside raw in the middle, clearly came from a frozen box... I would not go again.

I’ve passed this place 4 X’s a day for years & finally went for dinner!!! The food was unbelievably AMAZING!!! I wish I knew how outstanding the food was because this place is somewhere I will now go more often!!! Everything is fresh!!! Their garlic sauce is the BEST around!!!! I highly recommend the shrimp with garlic sauce, mofu with garlic sauce, pork cubes & onions & the chicken stew!!

What they call tembleque isn't that and shouldn't be called that. Food was barely warm, Rice with Gandules needs more adobo and sofrito also was dry. Alcapurria was ok best out of all I got. Don't expect any kind sauce they don't give any not even ketchup. The most plain and dry tostones (plantains). I'll pass next time and order dominican food
