“Marnie was not only extremely helpful but she is the kindest person I’ve ever dealt with in retail. I came in shortly after losing my mother and husband within three weeks of each other. I was very emotional and she sat with me and helped me pick out the perfect color. I felt like I had encountered an angel. I will always come back to see her.”
“Best selection of hardware in Astoria other than going to the LIC or Lex 59th Home Depot. Prices are reasonable, $1.60 out the door for a small box of fasteners! They take credit card for sub ten dollar purchases as well.
My two gripes are 1. that not everything is labeled with a price and 2. that the hours and days of the week the store is open are limited. Other than that, no notes. Shop at local small businesses!”

“I have just purchased 5 galons of Ready Seal stain for my deck and Armond could not have been more professional and accommodating in helping me. He found that Amazon had a lower price so to equalize me by providing an extra gallon with application accessories and delivery .
He is an excellent local businessman and I highly recommend him and his store. JA”

“My in-laws bought a fridge, and didn’t measure their kitchen doorframe properly. Walked into this hardware store, and walked out within 60 seconds with my questions answered and a proper fix to the dilemma. All it took was a $7 crowbar and a little elbow grease. Fantastic store.”
“Excellent paint and customer service!! Will never go to another Benjamin Moore store. Had an awful experience with old paint being sold at another Benjamin Moore store. The consistency of this store's paint is spot on with color I needed, smooth and fresh!! Thank you so much for the lovely living room color I was looking for. Will be a loyal customer to this location for life!!”
“My crooked contractors left a bunch of cans of paint and primer in my apartment. I lugged them around in bags to three different paint and hardware stores and none would recycle them. This store was full but graciously agreed to take them. Thank you. There are still a few good humans in this world.”

“This is the only hardware store in the neighborhood with a decent paint selection that sells sample sizes for small projects for $6.99 each. Friendly, helpful and patient staff!”
“We recently visited this Benjamin Moore store while painting our house. We had narrowed down our color choices to a few options, but my wife insisted we couldn’t decide until we saw them in person. We spotted this store while driving home and decided to stop in. I provided the exact color names and sheen, and the staff quickly mixed up samples for us. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend!”

“Great local place for Benjamin Moore Paint (which everyone says is the gold standard for paint) . I knew nothing about paint and they took the time to educate us about the different selections. They have some of the best prices around and very friendly. Ken, Arlondo, and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. They even carried it out to my car for me. I would highly recommend them for all of your paint needs.”
“Instead of spending an hour at Home Depot I spend 3min at boulevard hardware. Super helpful down to earth crew there ready to solve whatever problem you might have”
“Returned here recently and was concerned because it is no longer Dubnoff's. It is now Riccardi Brothers as Mr. Dubnoff retired. Luckily, the gentleman working when I went there carried on the great tradition of Dubnoff's and was incredibly helpful. I can still highly recommend this business!”
“I've been buying thousands of dollars worth of tools and materials per week from Althea, Joe, and the rest of the team at the pro center for years now as a shop manager for a scenic painting crew for TV & Film, and they are absolutely the best in the business. Fast, resposive, knowlegeable. We work at an absurd pace compared to the contracting or home improvement industries and they keep us supplied and on schedule.”
“The help in this store is incredible. Big shoutout to Justin. I truly don’t know much about painting, as a new apartment owner I needed a bunch of help and he was there explaining everything I needed. He was really great. He basically chose all the colors for my walls ?? and they look phenomenal. Thanks again to Justin.”

“I had an excellent experience with this store today.
The gentleman who helped me over the phone was incredibly kind, professional, and patient. He took my order, explained everything clearly, and even guided me on how to arrange an Uber driver to pick up my paint. He stayed in touch throughout the process and made sure everything went smoothly.
Very reliable and thoughtful service — I received my paint quickly and without any issues.
Highly recommend!”
