139 NJ-17, HackensackI brought my beloved dog Vanna to be put to sleep on June 7th to Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital . Vanna was 17 years old and was completely blind. Her blindness didn't stop her from being physically active and she was always on the move. Unfortunately there were other issues which made it impossible for Vanna to continue being active. Vanna was seen by Dr Meza. She was so patient with me and gave me all the time I needed to hold Vanna and cry and just say goodbye to my little beautiful baby. I didn't feel pressured at all. Dr Meza explained the entire procedure to me and told me when I was ready to let Vanna go to let her know. I was holding Vanna when she passed. I wept so much but I truly felt it was the best thing I could do for my sweet girl. I would definitely recommend Dr Meza or Dr Marteney. The medical staff who assist the vets and the front desk Sasha Maria Selena are all great. Thank you Dr Meza for your compassion and patience I truly appreciat

Really appreciated that they were open. Menu on the wall (the only physical menu). You can put in order by the kiosk or with the staff. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good came out quick. Couple tables inside. It has a wall for photo op. I love my brisket pho. Hot and flavorful. The lemon made the aroma come out even more. Brisket is thin and melt in your mouth. Spring rolls are crispy. But it's smaller portion. Solid spot for comfort food and quick meal.

The owner was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating to all of our needs, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
The restaurant itself is beautiful. It has the perfect balance of elegance and romance, with a modern touch, while still giving you that classic Italian restaurant feel. The photos and décor add so much warmth and tradition without feeling outdated. It created the perfect atmosphere for such a special celebration.
I’m so grateful for how everything turned out. I highly recommend Tavern 61 for any special event—or even just a great meal. Truly an amazing experience

It’s a newer place on Main Street I have been meaning to check out and it didn’t disappoint. I made my own salad bowl with salmon that was cooked PERFECTLY truly amazing. Everything was so flavorful I ended up not even using the dressing I picked it simply wasn’t needed in my opinion so now I have some sauce to make something at home with! It ended up being around $35+ but that’s because I got a lot of add on and honestly I don’t regret it at all. It was a treat yourself kinda tab lol. Everything was really fresh and the portions are HUGE so treat yourself to something here you won’t regret it.

While the food may come out hot, it cools off quickly because of the lower temperature, but I make do. If you're in Hackensack looking for good food at reasonable prices, Villa de Colombia is worth a visit.

When I have the time, there's only one restaurant I MUST hit- Cubby's BBQ in Hackensack. Best ribs ever! My absolute favorite, however, is the Rib Eye Steak Sandwich with mozzarella cheese and jalapeños. Heaven!

Located at the Riverside Mall in Hackensack, True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven culinary experience. Each of their kitchens has an executive chef at its helm, crafting wholesome, intentionally sourced ingredients into flavorful creations open for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The reservation was easily made through OpenTable. Upon entering as first-timers last night, my partner, our friends, and I were greeted by the host and stepped into a spacious room over 6,000 sq. feet nicely filled with patrons, a bright and airy room full of greenery with a welcoming vibe. Our table was ready by the window. Outdoor dining is available, weather permitting, with a massive patio with bright yellow umbrellas. Their clearly labelled seasonally rotating menu has a heavy focus on healthy eating, featuring burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and entrees with vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-friendly options. They have a full bar with wine and beer selections, plus specialty craft cocktails. As a starter, we decided on the Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Edamame Dumplings to share. For our mail meal, we opted for Grilled Salmon, All-American Burger, Spaghetti Squash Casserole, Chicken Parmesan and a side of Honey Roasted Carrots. We washed them down with Pomegranate Spritzer with Tito Vodka, Stella Artois, Rose Sangria, and Grapefruit Martini. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor, using the best ingredients. One can taste how light and fresh each dish was. The meal felt filling without feeling overly stuffed. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our server, Jorge, was extremely professional and offered us some great recommendations. We had an amazing dining experience.
