I had a terrible experience at Quest Diagnostics. I went in for a routine blood test and ended up with a huge bruise on my arm, which is now turning black and painful. This should not happen in such a simple procedure. Unfortunately, I can’t post pictures because Google doesn’t allow it, but it looks bad. If you need blood work done, I highly recommend going somewhere else to avoid this kind of issue.

Update: This used to be my favorite quest location but the parking is so horrible that I just cannot continue to go to this location anymore. Go to 179 Cedar Lane, Unit E in Teaneck instead.
Original review: Quick, clean office, nice staff. Check-in is easy. Quest’s kiosk is great, compared to other labs’ and medical facilities. It’s best to have an appointment. It’s so quick and easy to book it online, especially if you have a Quest login.

I had a terrible experience at this Quest bloodwork center. The technician attempted to draw blood from my left arm, inserting the needle at an awkward angle and digging around, which was extremely painful. When that failed, they moved to my right arm and eventually found a vein, but the pain was intense—I was seeing stars. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with blood work. I had just spent a week in the hospital with sepsis, so I’m no stranger to needles, but I’d take any of those hospital techs over this one. Truly awful.

I was late for my original appointment and there was something wrong with the way I received the confirmation because I had a code but no email confirmation or scan. Luckily there was another appointment open 1 hr later so I waited. The hour went fast.
The technician I think her name was Marsia was excellent at drawing blood. Did not hurt at all.

Rude! No help at all! Did a twenty four hour urine test and was told I can come back and just drop it off, when I got there they said I had to sign in and wait. I told her the girl who did my blood told me to just drop it. She asked the girl and she flat out lied saying she never said that! Can you imagine, it was a drop off, every other lab just takes it! Very unprofessional!

I came in today to do a test on my own and call my Insurance to confirm I was covered. When I arrived I learned that I was given incorrect information but the young lady who took care of me, Miesha, was an absolute sweetheart and walked me through what I needed to do and sat with me while I purchased the test online then she drew my blood.
I've always had a positive experience at this location but today was the best.

Rachel at the Hackensack location is AMAZING. Woman was kind, caring, patient and willing to go to any extent to help me when I was having a hard time figuring out the logistics of what I needed. Any other person might have been short or irritated with me but she was incredibly sweet and truly helped me. I would recommend this place to anyone just to see these ladies.
