This location opens at 9 AM (not 8), just a heads up. The staff here are always thorough and helpful. Even though there are several USPS locations closer to me, I always choose to come here because of the consistently good service.

This is the worst location I ever seen. I been waiting for my passport to arrive for which I paid extra to make sure it was delivered on time. Now they said they it was delivered on March 8th. Yesterday I went there to see what can be done because The State Department said it was sent but again it never made it to my address. When I got there there was a fight between employees, they were screaming at each other right on the window, very unprofessional. I waited in hopes that someone could could but all the woman who helped me said it was delivered on March 8th with no proof of it. Well the passport was never delivered the woman who helped me said she was going to call me between 6 and 7 but that never happened. I am suppose to leave the country this Saturday and now I don't have a passport to use. You are there collecting your pay but not caring for the service you provide.

Horrible costumer service ever, there is a curly hair black lady that is very nasty and work like the hates her job. I came asking for proof of change of address and left very upset because she didn’t help at all she was very sarcastic and lack of costumer service

You have very stupid service I send Christmas cards to my wife. That card arrived there at your office on 20 December. She wait for that card but she can't get till now even her home is very near to you office I send that card from Pakistan and very hopeful that you understand how much it important delivered at my wife home before Christmas but it still under process of delivery by your side. Thanks to make my Christmas bad.

Place is so slow. When there are tellers there. Someone should post their operating hours, but when I went at 1:30 all windows were closed and said "Lunch til 3PM" so at minimum closed for 1.5 hours for lunch. Probably closer to 2 hours.

Street parking here, the lot beside is for a different building. Inside a single line finds its way over to the counter, no clearly labeled drop for letters that are stamped already, but they do have a package drop off to the side. A couple of blue boxes outside.

All clerks in this Hackensack office are terrible, they don't know anything about their job I went to change my address, filled the forms, the clerk said that I have to wait between 3 or 4 days to get my mail in the new address. It passed more than a month and I still don't getting my mail. I went back a couple times so the other ones said I should wait or go to talk to my carrier. I can't just go and wait for many hours for him until he shows up. Then another one said I shouldn't go there, I should go to south Hackensack Office to speak to the delivery supervisor. Something there, they said that the sistem whipped off my request so I should do it on line and wait, I asked what else to do then they said just wait and what is terrible in both offices is what they said " even the bosses don't tell us what to do, what ever we do it's just by experience". How can I know if they don't know how to help me. Some ones said "you need a validacion code on your old address", some other said " you need the validation code on your new address" and other one said "not always need it" and what is worse they closed my case because via phone message they suggested that I should talk to my senders and ask to redirected my mail. It's terrible!! I need my mailnow!! They don't care at all about all those issues they are causing me and the USPS should trained there people before they work as a clerks. I feel sorry for us the costumers and I feel angry for all those clerks and for this bureaucracy that causes me many days going back and forth trying to get my mail. Terrible, terrible service ???
