Brought the car back a car back a day early age talking to the rep advising him i wanted to save money and he told me i would save money for bringing it back a day early. Got the final bill and they charged me the full amount. After calling and asking why i didn't save i was told there is no savings for bringing it early a day on a weekly rental. Owner told me i should've specifically asked how much i was saving not just that i wanted to save a dayof the rental and only then the rep would've checked. Terrible Cussler service. I would've kept the car the extra day. Thanks for not being thorough.

Great customer service. The car I reserved wasn’t available so they upgraded me to a Mustang! That was a fun car to drive. If it were a stick it would have been even better.

I rented a truck, truck not available when I drove all the way to the pickup location. Charged my credit card, won’t refund for 5 days. Very poor company.

Management changed and service has definitely suffered. 2nd rental this summer and cars are dirty. I will be finding another rental company instead of Avis in Hackettstown on Stiger street.

First booked a pickup. Everything good so far...When everything signed, paid and let out the door (still good) but then she showed me a suv?? I was like whhaaat.....The owner did not honor my booking for a pickup instead. Reminder...I had taken the train to this place. Left me stranded told they would honor the price but not the unlimited mileage. Was told 49 cents a mile??? that would have been a 100 dollars more. Did not offer to send me to another place had to walk to the library. Not that far but I am disabled and really can't walk that far. Anyways...From the library I went online and booked on enterprise. Same website and for a pickup(same basic price)and the miles were 150 free. perfect so I would go just a little bit over. Did I mention enterprise picked me up from where I was and they said they get a laugh from people they actually pick up from avis and take their business. Next time I'll fork over the extra 2 or 3 dollars and go with enterprise.

The employee was really helpful and nice. I got into a brand new van with about 8,000 miles and it smelled like a dirty old ashtray. How embarrassing when I had to pickup my friends for a night out. Never again!

Got an email confirmation to pick up van for vacation at noon on Saturday only to find out they close at noon and I could not get the van. Needed to rent from another company at a higher price. Called the following week to vent frustration and was told that they don't have time to make a courtesy call if they are closing and you have not picked up your car. When I asked about the email confirmation that I got, I was told that they don't run the email and was hung up on.
