I came in today to cash a check and open a 2nd account, I did not have the correct documents, told me to come back in 20 minutes with the correct documents. I came back when they declined to see me due to not having time( mind you this is during business hours after they told me to come back in 20 minutes) . If that was the case they should have scheduled me instead of wasting 2 hours of my time trying to accommodate them. After they told me they couldn't take me seen that it highly frustrated me, reneged and said they could. Horrible experience, I have been banking with Bank of America all my life along with my whole family. I am really considering switching to a different financial institution, if it is this difficult to open a 2nd account. Why I would I be comfortable taking on a mortgage,..etc... You've lost a valued customer, I hope your staff learns from this experience rather than making it a common occurrence.
