Frutimex Supermarket is the only Hispanic supermarket in the Hackettstown area, offering a wide selection of international foods from countries like Costa Rica, Argentina, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. While the prices may be a bit high due to high demand, the market is known for its fresh and well-stocked meat and produce, as well as its friendly and helpful staff. Customers appreciate the clean and organized environment, and many plan to return despite the higher prices.
After failing to find dried chillies (ancho and guajillo) at any of the larger grocery stores, I finnaly found this place. They had a massive selection of quality dried chillies and tons of other great stuff. I wish I stopped here sooner. The cashier was super friendly too. Will definitely stop by next time im in town.
