This is why it's always best to go with the local shops rather than the big chains. After 8 years, some new work on the house required about 10 pieces of hybrid flooring we bought over 8 years ago. One call to Hackettstown Flooring was all it took. Using my last name and phone number they pulled up my original order and located a case of the flooring within minutes. Due to time constraints, I needed the flooring soon and said I was willing to drive anywhere. Beth at HF arranged for me to pick it up at a facility in PA. No one was optimistic I could get that old flooring and yet 24 hours later, I had it! Beth-Thank you!! That was amazing service !! (Oh and the people in Pennsylvania; equally awesome!!).

Crazy pricing. 400 sqft kitchen
$8.25 sqft remove tile. $3,300.00
$2.35 sqft remove luan. $900.00
Total =$4200. 00
Competitor was $1,425.00 to remove tile and luan underlayment. That's 2775.00 difference.
Contractors out here are all over the place. Many are very high. This happens when they are very busy and don't really need the work. They are not all like this. Good luck finding a good price and a good contractor. There are some out there.

I am not one for writing reviews but I have to comment on my experience with Tracy and the team at Hackettstown Flooring because I was “floored” (sorry I couldn’t resist) over the incredible service we received here. Kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. They treated my family and I like old friends even though we had no experience with them at all. It’s rare you get this type of quality product and incredible service these days so I just have to call them out! Highly recommended.

My wife and I are VERY happy with our new flooring from Hackettstown Flooring. We had luxury vinyl tile (LVT) "wood" planking put in our kitchen and family room and carpet throughout the rest of the house. Beth could not have been more helpful in the entire process from the competitive estimate to scheduling and final follow-up. John & Greg did a wonderful job with installation. They were hard working, neat and detail oriented. If you are in the market for new flooring, Hackettstown Flooring is DEFINITELY worth considering.

Had a great experience with Hackettstown Flooring when we hired them to install carpet in our newly finished basement. Beth in sales is very knowledgeable and helped us select the perfect carpet and answered all of my questions. John took all of the measurements and installed over 1200 sq feet of carpet. All of the staff members we dealt with were incredibly friendly and customer service and quality was top notch. We are so happy we made the choice to use Hackettstown flooring and will use them again for our next project.

I could not be happier with my choice to use Hackettstown flooring. I was in a crunch having to sell my parents home, hackettstown flooring helped me find the product that would fit our budget perfectly and look fantastic. The installer was very professional, helpful, respectful to the property and extremely clean.

Everything is great.... until there's a problem. So...... I've had 2 terrible encounters with Hackettstown Flooring. I won't go into the first issue, since that was 2017...(and I didn't write a review then because one bad experience should not define a company). I went back a second time because they are one of the few distributers of my favorite hardwood flooring companies (Wickham).On October 5th, I ordered 402 sq. ft. of a Wyckham floor. Time was of the essence, so I explained that I needed the floor installed within the next few weeks. Tracey (manager) said Wickham had my floor in stock and it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks, I reached out to Tracey and she said Wickham was experiencing distribution issues and would not be able to give her a definitive delivery date until November 20th. I told her I unfortunately needed to cancel my order and requested a refund of my $2,000 deposit. Tracey told me she could not give me my money back. I pressed her to allow me to cancel my order, so she called the owner, Gloria. Gloria told Tracey that I could not get my money back if the floor was already in 'production'. Then Tracey and Gloria began to give me the run around. At one point, they said it was a distribution problem, but then it was a production problem. Bottom line, Gloria would not put her customer first. Please understand that I purchased $10,000 worth of hardwood floor from her in 2017 and she STILL would not give me the courtesy of allowing me to cancel this order.Any place of business is great, until there's an issue. If there's an issue at Hackettstown Flooring, they will not take the side of the customer. I promise you this.

Hackettstown Flooring did an amazing job!! We got so many compliments already, and it has only been done for a week. They took up the dark brown tile that was cracked in so many spots, and laid down this new beautiful luxury vinyl flooring, that complements the kitchen so much better. They were professional and worked fast. So glad we went with them!

I had an amazing experience at Hackettstown Flooring. Beth and Tracy were both pleasant and professional. Installation was done perfectly and the installers were great to work with ! I will definitely be using them again for future flooring needs.

Great selection! A little slow on the sales side, they kept offering more selections instead of helping us narrow down. Great overall experience.
