Do NOT come here for color matching. No complaints about anything else, but they did a horrendous job of color matching my paint. I brought in my old bucket and the man at the paint desk couldn't scan the code to get the exact match so they had to do color matching on a dried paint drip.
I'm well aware that this almost never perfect, but I've never had it come out this terribly off (see photo). The darker paint is what was matched to a dried piece of the lighter paint. It's not returnable either so that was $200 in paint down the drain.
I ended up going to Home Depot in Stroudsburg and the ladies there were able to match the paint correctly. It's nearly indistinguishable. Never coming back to Hackettstown store for paint though.

We had an emergency and needed a water heater. The person who assisted us was kind and nice although she had limited knowledge about the water heaters. She went out of her way to get us a cart.

Store associates are very helpful and approachable!
PSA!! Currently there are solar panel solicitors on this site (Trinity Solar). Trinity and Sunnova are two of the worst rated companies within the industry. On BBB (Better Business Bureau) their reviews are down right awful!

They do not recycle fluorescent tube lighting here and do not know where to do so. But they sell them.

I recently purchased an expensive electrical mower from the Home Depot store in Hackettstown, NJ. I needed to order it online and I went to customer service to ask them for help.
Briana was the customer service representative that day and she was the best!!!
She went above and beyond with the whole process of buying this big purchase online. She added the Home Depot discount and my military discount together, and she helped me to use my Home Depot store credit too. I was so happy that I got a great deal on this big purchase!
Briana was so professional, super friendly, very polite, quick and extremely helpful!!! She knew exactly what she was doing and she made the whole process so easy and very pleasant for me! All the customer service representatives at the other stores should be like her!!
When I am ready to order another big purchase from the Home Depot store, I will return to the Home Depot store in Hackettstown, NJ because of Briana!
I know that she will do her best to make it easy, quick and happy for the customer! I will recommend this store to my family and friends!

Visited Hackettstown Home Depot with questions about a power wash-compatible product and was promptly assisted by a helpful staff member. The store manager, Ed, provided excellent guidance.
While in the carpet aisle, Ed and two knowledgeable associates, including Jessica, offered valuable advice on the best carpet for our home.
Everybody was welcoming and helpful which made our experience enjoyable and we’ll definitely visit again for future DIY projects
Update July 6, 2024: All associates are so nice, met Patrik from paint department and he advised me on how and why to apply 2nd coat on furnitures/deck. I appreciate it. ❤️

My husband and I bought an appliance. Which we ask for help with and no one would help. Then the register did not print us a receipt. After an hour of two employees and their manager not knowing what they should do, I had to get costumer service to print us a receipt. It was very frustrating.

So I had to come to this Home Depot a few times because of an emergency that my girlfriend was having at work. Every time I came there it was pretty hectic due to the growing needs of our population, and there are many people who need help. Usually I like to think myself a handyman and the type of guy who can do things himself but the selection at Home Depot is overwhelming. I was about to go to customer service before Jerry showed up and addressed our concerns. We showed him to screw that we needed and he was able to guide us to the exact spot in less than 15 seconds. I was able to get the screw and the parts that we needed due to Jerry and even when I had to come back about three or four other times Jerry was there to make sure that I was okay and that I was finding everything that I needed. Ed if you are reading this you have found a very special employee who goes above and beyond to make sure every customer around feels satisfied with their visit. Thank you for running such a great Home Depot with such great employees. Me and my girlfriend's visit was very pleasant, efficient, and we will definitely come back again.
