I love this dealership especially my salesperson Bobby Nylund. He answered all of mine questions and made the process really easy. He did not pressure me into buying any vehicle. Since the first time that I met him, about a week ago, he made sure I knew all the choices. He made sure that I got the car that I wanted at a very good price. Will definitely come back here and look for Bobby and I will 100% recommend him to all my family and friends. This was probably the easiest, fastest and greatest experience I’ve had at a dealership.

Buying a car can be a frustrating experience, especially when salespeople try to play games. I had an experience when I was shopping around for a car. I visited three different dealerships, all selling different brands, in search of specific things that I needed. However, I never planned on buying a car from Hackettstown Honda until I met Mr. Earl Kolodji. He is an amazing person, and I knew it the moment I met him. Mr. Earl made everything so simple by providing a clear upfront price with no hidden costs or surprises. He even brought in the manager, Mr. Thom Graham, to help me with my needs. The whole process took only an hour, and I was able to sign the papers. Seriously, everything was too simple. I highly recommend both Mr. Earl and Mr. Tom to anyone looking to buy a car. Thank you again for making the experience so easy and enjoyable.

The service department does a bad job and lies to you.Brought my 2015 CR-V in for 100k mi. services as indicated by the maintenance minder.Service department came back with a half a dozen recommendations for me, presented to me as though they had checked fluid levels/conditions, even though I could still see my vehicle sitting untouched in the parking bay.Then, they tried to upsell me a package 'deal' full of items not indicated by the maintenance minder.Then, the sales department called me up about buying a new car while I was still in the service waiting room.All I ended up getting from them was an oil change and the rest of the work I needed I had done at a regular shop.Honda of Hackettstown couldn't even manage that competently.They didn't bother to push a body clip on my rear bumper back into place after yanking it out for no reason.When I opened the hood to check the oil level, I found some piece of plastic sitting loose in the engine bay which they didn't bother sticking back wherever it goes after yanking it out (again for no reason).I was only checking the oil because I brought it home and surprise! the car now leaves puddles of oil in the garage.

Mike Hoffman. Remember that name as he is the BEST service manager I have ever worked with at any Honda dealer over the past 30 years. He ALWAYS returns your call. He is ALWAYS polite and goes out of his way to make sure any concern/issue is handled professionally to your SATISFACTION. I have no idea if Honda of Hackettstown knows how valuable this employee is but I truly hope he is recognized because he is the reason we continue to purchase and service our 4 Honda cars at this dealership.

Just purchased my Honda Accord 2023. I must say John was great at helping me find the payments I was looking for. He made my experience an amazing one. Everything went smooth and he kept following up with me until I was able to come to the dealership. I’m so happy with the service provided to me at Excellence Honda of Hackettstown Thank you John !!!!!!

Sub-mediocre customer care. I took my vehicle which was 30 days old with 2,600 miles for an alignment (which no new vehicle should need any sort of service to begin with). According to the 2023 warranty basebook, new vehicle alignments are covered up to 12,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. With that simple statement of coverage, I asked for an alignment. My service advisor never stated it would not be covered so again, based on the warranty, as it is written, I would be covered. INCORRECT! Not at Honda of Hackettstown! I was billed for the service and stated it is because of workmanship error. Why is that? Because 600 miles prior, I received an alignment at another Honda dealership, actually my purchasing one. Without any investigation or even looking at the previous alignment results, Hackettstown assumed it was done incorrectly and stated I would need to return to the purchasing dealership to receive reimbursement. I did so, but they declined reimbursement because they did the alignment correctly and the paperwork is available for proof.I have had numerous conversations with the service manager and my service advisor responsible for the lackluster customer service. Their position still stands that billing me for warrantable service and pointing fingers at another dealership is the only option.

Khalil is the best. I came in nervous not knowing how to get rid of subaru lease car and Khalil and his team did far beyond then what I could have imagined. I am so happy I chose to make the decision to buy my brand new HR-V here. I would 100% recommend it to anyone! Khalil always has a positive energy that is very contagious. We need more like him. Thank you to him as well that sold a brand new HR-V to my parents this past weekend. He always goes far and beyond to help anybody in need. Very satisfied with the friendly staff as well. You guys are awesome. Kaison was such a pleasure to deal with. Has an amazing positive attitude always.

I am using Honda of Hackettstown for many years. I bought last two cars from this dealership. Jerry, who is a sales representative at the dealership, earned my deep respect for the top quality of service that he provides. His knowledge is unparalleled and second to none. He answered all my questions very thoroughly. Delivery was flawless. Other people that helped me with car purchase were also excellent. I would be hard pressed to find flaws in the whole process. I recommend Jerry and his dealership.

I came to Honda undecided; I did not know what kind of car I was buying. When I went to the parking lot, I saw the HRV 2024, Mr. El;- Khoury helped me get into the car and had my sight on. He was very professional, and he answered all my questions, even the difficult ones like finance. I could get what I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. I was so pleased with the service I received from Honda of Hackettstown. Mr. E-Khoury went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car. I had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this Honda of Hackettstown and Khalil El-Khoiry sale person to others

Last week, I took my wife's car for servicing as it was making a strange noise. I was genuinely impressed by the way they diagnosed and fixed the issue without charging me, because, as the technician explained, it was it was a simple fix, a rattling noise, and it only need it to be tighten. Finding such honesty is a rare gem, and it truly blew my mind. I'm still in disbelief. They've earned a loyal customer for life.Now, I can't help but feel a bit regretful that I bought a Subaru last year instead of a Honda. Thank you again for your honesty and for taking care of my wife's car. Rest assured, my next car will definitely be a Honda.

The best buying experience. Greg was our sales rep and was really great to work with. Honestly, every person I came in contact with at the dealership was fabulous. The finance manager was great, even though he is a Dallas Cowboys fan. We drove an hour and half to look at this car, and the car, people, and dealership did not disappoint. Highly recommend this dealership!

Just bought our second car from this dealer. Bobby Nylund made the process a wonderful experience by helping me navigate through the process and keeping me posted on all the steps along the way. Bobby is a true professional with amazing follow-up. Sales manager Matt Fuhrman and his team did everything possible to find the right CRV for me and to make the experience so positive.

Great car buying experience. Earl was very knowledgeable and personable and maintained an interesting off-topic conversation while I considered my options, rather than badgering as some salespeople will while going through the motions. Got the last of a high-demand vehicle for MSRP, zero slimy markups. Earl was also able to get me almost triple the value of my trade-in. The entire process, including a lengthy test drive, took just under two hours, in part because I spent thirty minutes on the phone with my bank sorting out a fraud protection alert. The facility was gorgeous and welcoming, with a generous array of snacks, coffee, bottled water and other beverages during any wait time by their service department. A nice entertainment area for children with enough to keep them occupied. Staff that I did not deal with directly were happy and polite. Highly recommend.

Made my first big purchase here on a used 2020 Honda civic a couple of days ago. Something that I thought was going to be super stressful, was super easy. My sales rep, Khalil, was such a big help & seemed very down to earth & an honest person. However, I did feel like my dad & I were being judged by other sales reps, and they did mess up on my paper work. Khalil told me that my Honda is certified & on the paperwork, it said that it wasn’t but Khalil got on the issue and fixed it immediately. I overall had a great experience. Will definitely consider this Honda dealership in the future. I will definitely do an updated review on the car a few months from now.
