Only put one star because it would not take zero stars. I have used Maavis over the years in different locations and my experience was satisfactory. I recently had a very distressing experience with the Hackettstown Maavis location. I contacted Hackettstown discount tire and made arrangements to get my tires done there. I needed to call back and ask additional questions and unfortunately when I looked up the Number I inadvertently got the number for Hackettstown Maavis tire. When the gentleman answered the phone at Maavis I asked for the gentleman I had previously spoken to and I was told he was with a customer. The person on the phone kept asking me things that I had already provided just five minutes ago. I kept saying to him I just gave this information to Mr. X it should be there somewhere. He kept saying no it’s not written down we don’t have it. still unsuspecting he kept asking me to go get information and relay things that had already been relayed. We went ahead and made an appointment he knew that I was confused and I thought I was going to the other location because I kept asking him to confirm the location where he was and he was hesitant to tell me all he would do is give me the address again I continued to ask no less than three times for the original gentleman I talked to but he kept saying he wasn’t available. Ironically as I was in the car getting ready to go to the appointment the mixup hit me. I located the correct phone number, called and spoke to the original gentleman and he advised me “that this happens all the time” with the Hackettstown location. Maavis knows that people get mixed up and they “pirate” the customers. I called the Maavis location and spoke to a different gentleman and I let him know that at the very least I would not be coming to the appointment and I did not appreciate being scammed and then taking advantage of my mistake and I would be reporting it to the better business bureau. I had my appointment with the correct location and besides being a very pleasant experience each tire was $50 less than what Maavis quoted me. I was told that they get away with it because they are a big corporation and it is not illegal. Well in my opinion unethical and immoral Trump‘s illegal I will never go to any of their locations again.

I had a very positive experience after a very stressful situation. My family were on our way upstate and our tire blew out. We called Mavis customer service and they said we would have our tire in a few hours. Unfortunately, it was way longer than expected. A big thank you to Bob who went above and beyond who personally went to another shop to pick up our tire. Tom and Dan for their professionalism and their technicians for their skills and genuine care. Very honest, caring, and unbeatable price! Highly recommend!

My boyfriends brakes were done by Bryan. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Bryan was very thorough and answered any questions that we had. We will definitely be going back to see Bryan.

Great customer service. Explained things plainly and made me aware of pricing for everything.
They are a group who have good character and great integrity.

The staff I dealt with were very unprofessional! They gave me two false appointments, by simply lying to my face, and I showed up for both just to be told they system has no appointment for me at that time. On my next visit the employee with a beard got upset and started giving me a lousy attitude. I left and will never be back. When you're too busy to accept more work better tell the truth and not lye like a teenager! Disturbing..

I had an appointment for a tire change that was made days prior due to a flat tire. My husband dropped off my car around 9ish. We were called to pick up my car 6 hours later. When we got it, my car came out with an oil change, with the old tires still intact. How does a tire change appointment happen without tires actually being changed is beyond me. Asked the manager if they could change the tire since there’s been a mistake. The manager was beyond rude and unapologetic. Basically said “Nothing we can do- we’re closing. Come back tomorrow”. People have jobs during the week which is the reason why we made this appointment on a weekend. The way it was handled was very poor. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
