Well, i went it to open an account at this branch, and everyone here was so welcoming and so willing to help out explain everything in regards to any questions i had. Amy was very helpful with explaining the benefits about my new account & Mike was great with helping me out with more information about credit cards. I do recommend this branch definitely will be going back.

They need to work on their customer service skills. she look at my ID and making a statement on where I’m from why does it matter? Last time I checked Wells Fargo is located in many cities and states. And this is not the first time I was ask that question at this location which seem to be the conversation every time I come to this bank! I’ve never experienced this type of behavior in any other Wells Fargo bank in other city’s or states! She focus on where I was from but yet didn’t pay attention to my name which she said wrong. The energy and vibe at that bank is not welcoming at all especially for someone who just recently relocated to the area!

Jaqueline GHas Terrible customer service skillsMakes it very clear she does not want to talk to customers. When asked how her day was she proceeds to rudely ignore the question and rudely ask in a forceful manner “how can i help you”This makes for a very uncomfortable experience and a non welcoming environment.

Change your online hours so people do not plan their day around it and drive there only to find different hours posted on the door. Thanks

This is the worst wells fargo I have been in to in 20 states .... I spent 10 minutes waiting for them to process my transaction of $300; furthermore, a woman, who pulled up at the adjacent booth after me and who sent her transaction after I did was processed and left 2 minutes before mine transaction was processed.

The single ATM is constantly out of service, unable provide access to account, or able to take deposits. This has increased since closing the Washington NJ location and no additional ATMs nearby for almost 15 miles. Otherwise the service at this location is friendly, usually prompt, and expedient with simple things. The ATM is my primary use point at this location and if availability were to change site location would receive 4 to 5 stars

Wasn't it Benjamin Franklin who said (I'm paraphrasing here), "If you write something in anger, sleep on it before you send the missive out, as you might later regret what was hastily written in the heat of anger. Once sent, you can't take it back." I guess that applies to Yelp reviews as well. (Then again, ol' Ben was a slave owner given to trite platitudes like "No gains without pains," so how much weight should I really give to his philosophical "nuggets of wisdom?") But I'm not angry. Annoyed, yeah. I think I'm actually being fair giving this branch 2 stars instead of 1. My initial reaction was to give it 1, which is a rating I dole out rarely. I'm still a Wells Fargo customer, in spite of the 2016 scandal (I don't think the crooks engineering that particular scandal were focused on indigent peons like me and my piddling account, so what did I have to worry about?). My banking needs are simple. I pay bills. Once a week, I shop for groceries, and before I do, I take out some money from my account using my ATM card. Occasionally, I'll cash a check. Over the years, I've used a variety of Wells Fargo banks, from ones in New England, upstate NY, NJ and descending down through PA into Delaware, for these simple needs, and I've never had a problem. What I do 90% of the time is drive up to the ATM window, get my money, and depart. If I need to cash a check, I'll use another drive-up window 95% of the time, utilize the pneumatic tube to send my ATM card and identification through to the teller. I can't think of any problems I've ever had. What also works for me is that Wells Fargo banks are fairly ubiquitous. I woke up this morning with a brutal migraine. Took my medication, which stops the pain but wipes me out. So, in fairness to Wells Fargo Mansfield branch, my nerves were pretty frayed and raw when I started my "journey" out in that direction. My plan was to drive to Hackettstown...usually a relaxing progress through beautiful western NJ countryside...and stop at the Wells Fargo for some money (normally I avail myself of the ATM services at one of the Wells Fargo banks nearer to where I live, but...as I've mentioned...Imitrex made me a little more somnambulistic and thick-headed today than usual). My intention then was to walk a few laps in lovely and historic Union Cemetery nearby (which I'll have to review at some point in the future; I've been walking there semi-regularly for exercise ever since Covid hit-- it's scenic, it's conducive to my combination of "walking meditation" and physical fitness, and my initial thought at the beginning of the pandemic was that there already existed a natural 6-foot separation between myself and the cemetery's permanent residents, so it was probably a safe place to get my exercise in, but...I digress...). After that, I'd grab some groceries at the ShopRite with the money I obtained from Wells Fargo, and maybe pick up some Chinese food with whatever I had left over before heading home. But...wasn't it again pontificating old Ben Franklin who said, "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry?" (I think it was actually Robert Burns.) Anyway, when I arrived at the bank, my intention was to pull up to the ATM window, withdraw some money, and head over to the cemetery for my invigorating, restorative walk. I followed the lane with the ATM sign, and...no ATM. No slot to put my card in, no drawer to retrieve my money from. Just a blank wall. Was I being punked? Were some clerks inside amusing themselves as they observed on camera my numb, Imitrex-fueled incomprehension? I drove carefully down a narrow road that looked as if it might be one-way (it was, although I was traveling in the right direction) and parked. Donned my mask and walked inside the bank. Only one teller station seemed to be open; one teller was evidently helping another (new?) teller assist in answering the questions of a confused couple (maybe they wer

This branch is staffed with the very best people. From tellers to management they really know how to treat people right. I go out of my way to do business at this branch. They are so kind and generous to my son when he is with me... they treat him like royalty. Well done....

The tellers in there are great. They are severely understaffed. The tellers seem miserable there, now. One of the full timers, have been telling me how much stress they are under to meet sales quotas, and there's always a long wait time, and their equipment is always broken, causing even longer waiting. Those poor tellers are constantly rushing, can't even make small talk, like we used to. Some of those tellers have been there a very long time. I've gotten to know and become friendly with them. There are two really sweet part timers, that I really enjoy and make me feel welcome. They seem like they can NEVER stop, to take a breath. I can't stand the constant selling of "financial reviews". I know management makes them do it. All the employees are afraid of their manager's, who change every six months, anyway. They should be not be so afraid of any other coworkers, even if they are their manager. Respect is different. I've seen tellers getting help, from their service manager, who is very nice to his tellers. I also noticed a slight change in his normally happy attitude. Seems like he is trying to defend his tellers, from the hostile environment Wells Fargo has created, but upper management and the company seem to really treat the employees under them really bad. I feel so bad for them, sometimes they have to handle the lobby and drive thru, alone! One teller! It's a shame what the company is doing to those sweet people in my regular bank. I also hear about it, to. Very sad, I used to love going in there. Now the lines are too long, the staff is miserable, always under constant pressure the use certain wording, sell stuff and getting scared of getting a four out of five on some poll the customers take. Upper management should see how much they are hurting their employees. This branch, I use more than the others, in my area. The one on route 57 has the nicest staff, especially the two part time ladies. They always make me feel like a person. Not an object. Get more help there! Thank You, Teresa page
